  统计学(Statistics)  eticsco.ltd,ipressedbythemottofromxx,thefounderofthepany—“believeinmiracleandmiracleyundergraduateeducationiethodologyofnumericalanalysis,theteachingandtheresearchofeconomicsinchinalagsfarbehindtheinternationalstandardasrepresentedbythedevelopedcountriesoftheoneofthetopstudentsfromthexxuniversityoffinanceandeconomics,ifinditdifficultformetoreallyenterthetruerealmofeconomicsstudy.insteadofdealingaheavybloe,thisdiscoverymotivatedmetomaximizemyeffortsinthestudyofmathematicsandtoapplyforanadvanceddegreeprograminstatisticsatyouryundergraduateprogram.itismyconvictionthat,aslongasihavesufficientconfidencemyselfandmakesufficientefforts,iamboundtoacplishsomeformofachievementsinthefieldofstatisticsandmakeduecontributionstothedevelopmentofquantitativeresearchineconomicsinthechineseacademia.miracleics.anundergraduateeducationinthespecialtyof\naccountingcoversknoics,managementscience,mathematics,statistics,andevensociology.eicfoundation,thiseducationhasenabledmetoferretouttheareasthatcanreallycapturemyinterest.ihavecherishedastronginterestinmathematicssincetheprimaryschoolanddevelopedmytalentsalltheymiddleandhighschool.butitisonlythroughmyundergraduatestudythatihaveetorealizethevitalimportanceofmathematicalapproachestothestudyofeconomics.thisveryrealizationhasfurtherreinforcedmydeterminationtochoosethecareerofanappliedstatisticianinthefuture.toathematicsandstatistics.apartfromintensiveathematicalstatistics,ihavealsoattendedaseriesofimportantoptionalcoursesincludingoperationalresearch,gametheoryofeconomics,samplinginvestigationandmadefulluseofmysparetimetolearntheknouchaspossible.myundergraduateeducationshouldbedescribedasveryreaintainedtoprankinginmyclassandfortonstratedspecialaptitudesinmathematicsandinenglish.mynaturaltalentsinmathematicsandmy\ndedicatedeffortstomathematicscourseygpainallthemathematicscoursestoreach3.9,farexceedingthelevelofaveragestudents.intermsofenglishlanguage,ihavealsobeenesterin1999iencup”englishlistenprehensioncontestandin2001iedvariousresponsibilitiesforextracurricularactivitiesofseveralstudentorganizations,ihavestillmanagedtoperformically,afactthatshouldbeattributedtomyextradiligence,productivestudymethods,andeffectiveallocationofmytimeandenergy.fromtheveryoutsetofmyundergraduatecareer,imadeupmymindtofullyexploitalltheavailableresourcesofmyuniversitytoachieveprehensiveself-developmentandongdifferentdataandmakerationalstatisticalinferencesbyapplyingrelevanttheoriesandmethodologies,statisticshasbeenodernsociety,itsimpactperatingintoalmostallfieldsofphysicalandsocialsciences.toarketeconomyanditsaccessionintotheportantinchina’seconomiclife.thefactthatthesubjectiaminterestedinakesmeveryexcitedandconfident\nconcerningmyfuturestudyandcareer.inmyproposedprogram,iyfoundationinstatisticsandthennarroyintereststofocusontimeseriesanalysisandstatisticinference.ibelievethattomakerationalinferencesisoneofthemajorfunctionsofstatistics.inmanycases,purestatisticalmodelsortimeseriesmodelscanmakemorepreciseinferencesandpredictionsthantheoreticalmodelsofeconomics.thedilemmafacedbymoderneconomicsinmakingpredictionsisoneoftheimportantreasonsformetochoosestatisticsovereconomicsastheareaofmyconcentration.asanimportantaspectofstatisticalstudyandresearch,iasteroneortemberoftheresearchgroupofmyfutureadvisorunderetodoextensiveinternshipataspecificgovernmentorganizationoralocalenterprisesothaticanapplymyknothesoundundergraduateeducationthatihavereceived,togetheryspecialachievementsinmathematicsandenglish,mycreativity,perseverance,andmygoodlogicalthinkingarethreemajorfactorsofmyimplicitconfidenceinmyfutureperformance,just\nastheyhavecontributedtomydistinguishedperformanceinthepastovermostofmypeers.meanalsoveryproudofmypastextracurricularperformance,provedmypracticalabilitiesbeyondthemerecourseunication.iservedasstudentleaderinthestudentsunion,editoroftheuniversitystudentneemberofaccountingstudygroupandyouthvolunteerassociation.in2003,ieasbeautyconsultantattherenoericanxxcosmeticspany.animportantexperiencedirectlyrelatedtomyspecialtyistheinternshipididin2003atthestatisticalbureauofxxcityduringplinginvestigation,collectingandanalyzingdataandaccumulatingmuchpracticalstatisticalexperience.iprioritizeonxxuniversityastheschoolformymaster’sprograminstatisticsbecauseacarefulstudyofyouresteemeduniversityshoethatitisaousuniversityictradition.intermsoftheteachingandresearchofstatistics,itplaysaleadingrolenotonlyinamericanbutalsoininternationalacademia.naturallyitbeesmyidealchoice.asastudentofaccountingihave\nbuiltupasufficientfoundationinstatisticsandmathematicsrequisiteforagraduateprograminstatistics.therefore,isincerelyyapplicationcouldbeseriouslyconsidered.
