姚村中学初一英语组校本课程教研
尽管新教材在小学就设置了英语课,但是由于主客观因素的共同影响,使得升入初中的学生水平参差不齐。因此,初一英语教师的责任重于泰山,我们肩负着给学生打基础的重任,而且由于英语课程的特殊性,我们必须兼顾学生的听、说、读、写能力共同发展。
1.实施目的
中学阶段,英语学科作为考试科目,有着不可替代的重要地位。它作为一门语言学科,有着自身的一些特点,如要求学生掌握一定的英语基础知识之外,必须具备一定的听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。现行的新目标初中英语教材中的Integrated skills 就是将听、说、读、写糅合在一起的综合操练课。但Integrated skills 只有1课时,时间非常紧迫,学生达不到充分操练的目的,特别对各班的学生来讲,久而久之,在听、说、读、写方面将呈现严重训练不足的结果。基于此,建议在本校初一年级实验班及时开设英语校本课程,以满足各班学生得以充分操练,全面提高阅读能力的目的。
2. 背景分析
(1)本届初一各班新生来源以农民子弟为主,他们小学大多数在农村小学就读。农民子弟生在农村、长在农村,由于地域的文化局限、家长文化水平的局限、教育条件的局限,他们呈现知识少,能力弱等特点。在本次初一新生摸底测验中,初一(二)、(三)班的均分只达六十多分,远远落后于语数两门的均分。

(3)新课标的能力要求。《英语课程标准(实验稿)》(以下简称《课标》)指出:“从三年级开设英语的学校,3、4年级应完成一级目标,5、6年级完成二级目标;7-9年级分别完成三、四、五级目标;高中阶段完成六、七、八级目标。”据此,初一学生应完成三级目标。三级目标要求学生在阅读能力上达到五点:1. 能正确地朗读课文。2. 能理解简短的书面指令,并根据要求进行学习活动。3. 能读懂简短故事和短文并抓住大意。4. 能初步使用简单的工具书。5. 除教材外,在能具体明确、文从字顺地表达自己的意思,能课外阅读量因累计达到4万词以上。
3. 实施过程
(1)实施教材:由于新目标英语教材的局限性,备课组决定在初一实验班开设以阅读课为主的校本课程。经过集体精心挑选,确定使用上海外语教育出版社的《英语快速阅读》第一册为阅读课教材。
(2)教材内容:《英语快速阅读》是一套从美国最大的教育出版集团之一 ——

麦格劳-希尔出版公司引进的课外阅读教材。书中的阅读文章内容涉及天文地理、历史经济、数学生物等数十个学科,集知识、趣味性于一体,能保证学生对不同学科的兴趣。每篇阅读文章中较难词汇及其解释以及部分专有名词在前面几页列了出来,文章的后面都配有精心设计的阅读理解练习,供学习者及时检查阅读效果。文章语言纯正地道,练习设计科学合理,不仅能提高学生的阅读能力,更能帮助学生开阔视野,扩大知识面。
书中所有的阅读文章都围绕两个基本概念展开:第一,变化是生活的一部分。第二,某些变化比其他变化发生的快。每一部分都包含36篇短文和两篇较长的文章。每篇短文后都设计了7个题目,题型有选择和填空。两篇较长的文章是用来“just for fun”后面没有练习。一般每篇文章的词汇在3-5个,最多也没有超过10个。全册书共列出生词共280个左右,每个词汇都使用英文注解,这是与其它阅读教材最大的不同之处。新目标初一英语教材的词汇量只有500个左右,如果学完《英语快速阅读》第一册,对于学生的词汇量是一个很大的补充。
4. 实施意义
(1) 符合新《课标》精神。
新《课标》指出:“英语课程要力求合理利用和积极开发课程资源,给学生提供贴近学生实际、贴近生活、贴近时代的内容健康和丰富的课程资源,要积极利用音像、电视、书刊杂志、网络信息等丰富的教学资源,拓展学习运用英语的渠道。 ”
(2) 有利于学生的发展。
“学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。英语课程在目标设定、教学过程、课程评价和教学资源的开发等方面都突出以学生为主体的思想。 ”

(新《课标》)学生的发展是学生自我实现的需要,将大大有于学生英语综合技能的发展,同时有助于提高学生的英语成绩。
我组逐周进行如下训练:
第一周:听力实践课
目的:通过听英语对话,提高学生的听力水平。
以下为听力的内容的简要概述
1 、 根据学生要求,让他们听一些他们感兴趣的日常生活对话。
2 、 听对话之前,给出这篇对话的 keywords ,并给出一些重要的表达方式。
3 、 听完一遍后,让学生用英语复述出他们各自听懂了的内容。
4 、 再将对话完整地播放一次,然后将一些对对话的理解有影响的句子以及生活中常用的单词、短语、句子进行反复播放,使学生能有深刻印象并能记住。
第二周:听力理解课
目的:将听力技巧付诸于实践,通过听磁带,回答问题。
以下是听力技巧的简要概述
1 、给学生讲解在听力考试中的一些听力技巧。
1 ) 首先应将所要听的内容浏览一遍,做到对所听内容心中有数。
2 ) 在听到自己没听懂的语言点时,不要急,也不要继续将注意力停留在那里,应将注意力集中到下一个要听的目标。
3 ) 在听一篇短文时,不要只注重某一个语言点,应侧重于对全篇短文的理解。

2 、 分发材料,让学生先浏览题目。
3 、 播放磁带,听完后订正答案。接着让学生自己讲解刚听时是怎样将我们所学的技巧应用进的,有没有一定的帮助。
4 、 老师根据材料,具体讲解在听力中所遇到的问题,让学生有更深层次的理解。
5 、 布置课后作业,让学生自己找听力材料,然后根据所学技巧进行实践。 听力训练试题

第三周:阅读理解课

目的:通过阅读教材,进行阅读训练,并完成阅读 10 篇。
实施方案:
A.备课组在每次阅读课前进行集体备课,集中商讨阅读课文中呈现的生词、句型、语法、难句、文化背景等,并以书面形式纪录下来。
B.阅读课每三周开设一次,由本班级英语教师负责讲授。每次阅读课安排两节课时即90分钟,完成阅读课文4-6篇。整册书共76篇文章,预计全部完成需要30节课时。
C.阅读课之前要求学生先预习词汇,阅读课的形式以读写为主。其中教师也可以穿插一些听说活动,如教唱英文歌曲、观看英文版动画片、英语演讲表演等。这些都可以激发初一学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣。
D.及时评价校本课程实施效果。每学期通过阅读竞赛等活动检测学生阅读水平,评选阅读能手,并建立学生阅读能力档案库,对其进行三年跟踪追击。通过这种效果反馈对校本课程作及时调整。
(2)英语学习离不开阅读,在中考比分中,阅读已占45%。能善于运用已学的知识迅速、高效地做好阅读理解这一题型的学生极少,考卷中失分最多的也是这一题型。经过分析,学生的错误类型主要分为以下几种:
A. 学生因词汇量储存不够而不能理解整篇文章。

B. 学生能基本读懂文章,但因语法知识的欠缺在一些诸如时态、时间的先后顺序等关键处判断出错。
C. 学生有能力通读全文,但因中西方文化的差异造成理解错。D. 学生阅读速度太慢,往往因时间不够造成心急乱答题。
以下为阅读材料的内容
1 、 有意识地对学生进行专门的快速阅读训练。训练前教给学生略读和浏览的技巧。略读就是将视线停留在表面来得到一个大意,不要求注意每个细节;浏览就是找寻相关信息,不要求阅读每字每句。
2 、 要求学生放弃逐字逐句的阅读习惯,集中注意力抓住整篇文章的大意,不再纠缠个别词语或句子,进行整体阅读训练。
3 、 再教给学生一些猜生词的方法:定义猜词法,反义猜词法,同义猜词法,构词猜词法。
4 、 最后让学生根据所学的方法去完成阅读 10 篇。

随着国家经济的发展和改革开放的深入,选择出国游历和深造的人越来越多。在这其中,学生又是一股不可忽视的力量。以我们学校为例,每年都有一批学生被送往新加坡,每年暑假也会组织学生去国外进行学习交流。那么如何更快更好地融入当地的生活,英语尤其是英语口语在这里就起到了至关重要的作用。而作为经济文化的超级强国美国,自然更是学生向往的国度。基于这种情况考虑,我们定了校本课程的主题:How to live a better life in America?
课程内容主要分为三个课时进行讲解。
第一个课时主要讲英语口语的运用。语言作为交流的工具,是在国外生活的最重要的要素之一。本课时将通过对语音以及日常习惯用语两个方面讲解如何说好一门语言,以尽快适应并融入当地的文化。语音内容包括以下几个方面:
1。对元音的分析(长元音拉长,短元音短促有力,双元音饱满);2。连读和省略;3。咬舌头的两个音(TH字母组合)。日常习惯用语本课时将主要从打招呼,感谢,道歉等方面来讲解。比如说打招呼:How
is it going? How did your day go? What’s happening? What’s up?等等,又比如说感谢:I
really appreciate it. Thanks for your understanding/
cooperation.等等。通过对这些生活中高频率使用的日常用语的讲解和操练,以达到活学活用的效果。

第二课时主要讲美国的饮食文化。去年校本课程的主题是中西方文化的差异,那么我想我们今年是不是还可以继续延续下去?在他乡学习,游历,生活离不开吃,但是中西方饮食文化还是有一定的差异的。如何正确的吃,痛快的吃,是有学问的。所以本课时将通过以下几个方面讲解:
1.餐文化的差异。比如说如何点一份牛排,点餐过程中需要注意什么,中国的食物用英语如何表达,尤其是一些具有中国特色的食物;
2.桌文化的差异。这个正好去年讲过,有很多好的地方可以借鉴,比如说餐具的异同啊,餐巾的使用啊,就餐过程中的注意点啊等等;
3.费文化的差异。比如说买单的差异,小费的差异等。掌握了饮食文化的差异,我觉得应该可以避免很多窘境。
第三课时主要讲金钱和货币。货币与生活息息相关,在每一个国家和文化中,都有许多话题与金钱密不可分。在这一课时,我们主要会谈谈美国市场流通的硬币种类,如1美分,5美分,10美分,25美分等等,以及纸币种类,如1美元,2美元,5美元等等。其次还能讲讲纸币上的头像,比如我们能在一美元的纸币上找到美国第一届的总统华盛顿等等。此外,中美人民在对待金钱上也存在不同的看法,我们是主张存钱,比较保守,而美国人则主张花明天的钱,圆今天的梦。最后还可以教授一些购物的日常交际用语。
3个课时的时间很有限,讲解方面也不可能面面俱到,但是我们希望通过我们的讲解,能让学生学到实在的东西,也希望能对想要出国的学生起到一定的帮助作用。
初中英语共掌握八种时态:
一、完成时态——现在完成时、过去完成时;

二、进行时态——现在进行时、过去进行时、将来进行时、完成进行时;
三、一般时态——一般现在时、一般过去时。初一要求掌握一般现在时、一般过去时和现在进行时三种。
1、一般现在时
(1)一般现在时表示没有时限的持久存在的动作或状态或现阶段反复发生的动作或状态,常和副词usually,often,always sometimes, regularly,near,occasionally,every year, every week等连用。
如: 1)The moon moves round the earth..
2)Mr. Smith travels to work by bus every day.
(2)在由after,until,before,once,when,even if,in case,as long as,as soon as,the moment以及if,unless等引导的时间状语从句或条件状语从句中,通常用一般现在时代替将来时。
如: 1)I will tell him the news as soon as I see him.
2)I will not go to countryside if it rains tomorrow.

(3)某些表示起始的动词,可用一般现在时表示按规定、计划或安排要发生的动作,这类动词有:be,go,come,start,depart,arrive,begin,leave等。
如: 1)The plane leaves at three sharp.
2)The new teachers arrive tomorrow.
(4)在由why,what,where,whoever,who,that,as等引导的从句中,也常用一般现在时代替将来时。如: 1)Free tickets will be given to whoever comes first. 2)You’ll probably be in the same train as I am tomorrow.
2.一般过去时
(1)表示过去某一特定时间所发生的、可完成的动作或状态,常与表示确切过去时间的词、短语或从句连用。如: (1)We went to the pictures last night and saw a very interesting film.
(2)表示过去习惯性动作。
如: 1)He always went to class last.
2)I used to do my homework in the library.
3.现在进行时
(1)现在进行时的基本用法:
a. 表示现在(指说话人说话时)正在发生的事情。
例如:
We are waiting for you. 我们正在等你。

b. 习惯进行:表示长期的或重复性的动作,说话时动作未必正在进行。
例如:
Mr. Green is writing another novel. 他在写另一部小说。(说话时并未在写,只处于写作的状态。)
c. 表示渐变,这样的动词有:get, grow, become, turn, run, go, begin等。例如:
The leaves are turning red. 叶子在变红。
It's getting warmer and warmer. 天越来越热了。
d. 与always, constantly, forever 等词连用,表示反复发生的动作或持续存在的状态,往往带有说话人的主观色彩。
例如:
You are always changing your mind. 你老是改变主意。

2)表示心理状态的动词,如know, realize, think see, believe, suppose, imagine, agree, recognize, remember, want, need, forget, prefer, mean, understand, love, hate等。例如:I need your help. 我需要你的帮助。

3)瞬间动词,如accept, receive, complete, finish, give, allow, decide, refuse等。例如:

英语写作是英语综合能力的升华和体现,必须从初一抓起。
英语写作能力的培养既是一个系统的过程,同时又必须遵循由简到繁、由浅人深、循序渐进的原则。初中英语教学的目的是通过听说读写训练,使学生

获得基础知识和运用英语进行交际的能力。教材对听说读要求比较具体明确,容易引起教师的重视,相比之下,对写的能力训练要求则比较简单而且笼统,然而在国际交往中,我们经常需要用书面语言来表达思想、传递信息。所以重视写作能力的培养,并采用适当的训练方法提高这一能力,便成为教学中不可忽视的、必须潜心研究的一个方面。
第一步、写作能力培养从初一抓起的必要性
英语写作能力的培养既是一个系统的过程,同时又必须遵循由简到繁、由浅人深、循序渐进的原则。“教育要从娃娃抓起”,英语写作能力的培养也应当从小抓起。现在大部分小学已开始上英语课,到初一年级,不少学生已有一些英语学习的积累。同时,学生从小学开始进行中文的写作训练,到了中学已基本具备写作的素质,有了自己的思想,有了与他人进行思想和情感交流的愿望,这一切都使学生具备了进行英语写作的动机。在这时候,老师不失时机地进行一些适当的指导,相应的训练,将水到渠成,收到事半功倍之效。
了解到where,when,how,how long,what等信息。这是对写作的一个总体构思;有了前面一个步骤作为铺垫,学生从6个方面转化为笔头练习就不成问题了,于是,在上完Unit 1后我就布置第一次写作:写出关于Betty假期的情况。
学生学习模仿写句子,是初始阶段最基本的写作练习。学生把复杂的对话分解成清晰的句子或者篇章,迫使他们理清思路,再按照一定的顺序排列起来。有文可依,有话可写,内容也简单,让学生易于动笔,接受能力较差的学生都可以把对话中问题和答语的句子串联成篇,使他们享受到写作的成就感,从心理上减少畏惧和畏难情绪,从而对写作充满了兴趣和信心。这是写好作文的重要条件。
第二步:修改,激活文章

第一次的作文,只是让学生把对话改写成一个段落。能够写好句子,还不能够说具备了写作能力,只是具备了写作的基础。那么接下来是修改段落,所谓段落就是从主题句开始,确定本段的中心议题,然后递进、引申、举例等一个或者几个侧面,一个段落围绕一个中心或主题发展;而且同一个段落的句子之间要有连接,把不同的句子有机地连接起来,使之浑然一体,并且段落的结尾要有承上的总结,或启下的过渡句。
所以这一步骤,教师应该指点相应的写作方法,也就是上述提到的主题句,发展句和结尾句。然后让学生分组讨论用怎样的句子来开头和结尾,学生的积极性大大的提高,很多学生就认为,原来写英语的作文也是很简单的。因为他们基本掌握了写作的方法技巧和基本套路。
下面是他们列出的主题句:

有了开头和结尾,学生的写作思路打开了,这篇作文就好像有了翅膀飞了起来。中心部分是不是套用第一次作文就可以了呢?这个时候学生很渴望接下来会怎样呢,带着好奇,我指点他们用已经学过的first,then,next,finally等连接词把动作的顺序有机地连接了起来,用but,and,also,too等来串联句子,注意句式变化,使写作内容合理且有选择性,过渡自然,使文章增添了光环,于是布置第二次习作。
第三步:素材,写作基石
有一定写作基础的学生,在写不出东西时,往往不是他的语言水平不够,而是他没有找到写作的素材,或者只能写出那么一两点,文章的字数不够,文章的内容也就不充实。因此,针对英文写作的特点,教学中,教师积极开动脑筋,拓宽作文素材的收集渠道,对于强化学生的英文写作训练是十分重要的。
经过了第二次的写作,同学们对holiday的话题有了更多的认识,抓住学生此时的激情,让学生分组讨论与假期有关的素材和词语。围绕着topic,学生借助已有的旅游经历或者听闻的事情,充分地思考,发展思维,列出了许多有关的素材和词语,很多是课文里没有出现的词语,他们都可以想得到。最后我把他们的讨论结果都列在黑板上:

经过了热烈的讨论后,加深对话题的认识和理解,集中不同的见解,学生们可以在头脑中清晰地认识到,对于一个话题,要从不同角度围绕着中心主题去阐述,也就是说所有的句子必须紧扣主题句进行解释说明,论证或支持主题句。如果把英文写作与学生的日常生活有机联系起来,能够增强英文写作的趣味性。笔者认为,写作训练的初级阶段,首先就是要让学生有话说、愿意写。因此,为配合英文写作的教学,教师应指导学生结合教材,面向生活,寻找更多写作的素材,写好英语的作文。
布置第三次习作,要求学生参照自身的暑假生活描述暑假生活。如:(1)我帮父母..(2)我与同学逛公园;(3)我去登山/钓鱼;(4)我学会了游泳等等。
第四步:批改,优化写作
批改作文是一件苦差事,但是教师的一次批改,对于学生来说,是一个进步,一次提高,是激发写作热情的推动器,所以批改作文也应成为教师写作教学的一个重要的步骤。每次批改作文,教师在批阅时,都应在文章错误处划上记号提示,让学生按记号提示独立思考,更正错误后教师再审阅,修正,完成一次习作。另外每次作文教师可以把本次优秀作文让学生欣赏,通过欣赏美文,促使他们积极思考,有利于提高学生辨别文章优劣的能力,激发其写作的热情。再者,就是把学生习作的典型错误集中,归类,与学生一起纠错。教师还可以选择其中一篇有代表性的习作,跟全班同学一起批改,并与学生探讨同一意思的不同表达或连词的添加等等。
此外,我还常抽一定的时间让学生互批作文,学生更能学习他人之长,调动练习写作的积极性。总之,尽可能多地给学生提供练习和学习的机会,达到提高能力的目的。

在几年的英语写作教学实践中,深深地体会到,初中写作教学应贯彻整个初中阶段。在我们的教材中,编者有意识地设计了许多部分,都是为训练学生写作而提供的,内容切合学生实际,让学生有话可写,所以只要我们教师用心地专研和探索,一定能达到预期的目的。
英语校本课程教研在授课过程中也有体现,以新目标七年级下册为例:
Unit 3 Why do you like koalas ?
本单元主题是“Animals in the zoo ”;功能是“Describe animals and express preferences ”;结构是“ why what where questions ” “because …”“adjectives of quality ”.
在课堂教学中,运用一定的学习策略和思维技巧。如:
1. 记住重点句型,以及描述动物的形容词和相关信息;
2. 了解更多大自然以及地域常识;
3. 调动已有知识,根据上下文情景推测句子含义;
4. 同伴合作学习,互相询问,描述交换信息。
本单元引发学生极大兴趣,课堂进展顺利,但出现诸如以下问题:
What do elephants eat ? 学生误以为是香蕉,没有食草、食肉动物的概念,须加强跨学科联系,如地理、生物学等。
再者,学生在表达喜好时,I like panda .此类错误频频出现,究其原因是可数名词与不可数名词掌握的不好,需加强新旧知识的联系。
Unit 4 I want to be an actor .

课堂上将工作、工作场所和形容词综合在一起讲解,加强学生的思维的一致性,连贯性,综合性。并在讲解中穿插思想教育,爱岗敬业,培养他们积极向上的作风。
学习策略:
1. 掌握询问职业惯用语言结构;
2. 了解西方职业;
3. 利用情景对话猜测职业;
4. 和同伴合作学习,进行角色扮演,培养逻辑表述和人际交往的能力。
存在问题:
学生在单元测试听力中,听出来职业但有张冠李戴的现象:
书面表达“To be a policeman is exciting”中的不定式不会运用。
总之,加强知识的横向与纵向联系是一个不容忽视的问题。
课程的具体内容以英语组向总校投标的内容为本,即结合本校英语小班化的特色,擅长口语交际的特点,以情景对话为主,为学生口语能力进一步发展提供更广阔,宽松的平台。在课程的一,二教时里我们着重对学生进行了英美文化背景知识介绍和对话仪态指导以及表演艺术初探。通过这两堂课使学生进一步了解英美国家的一些礼俗和对话表演的一些技巧,为以后的情景对话课打下了很好的伏笔。接下来的对话表演结合课文实际,创设学生感兴趣的各种情景,以小组为单位进行表演。

课程内容的情景对话联系课文,但又高于课文,使学生的课内知识得到了进一步的拓展。设置的情景是学生熟悉并感兴趣的,如购物,借东西,采访外教等。兴趣是最好的老师。有了兴趣学生才会投入其中,尽情表达。反之,在校本课程中的投入又渗透影响到课堂学习中,相辅相成,良性循环。
2.培养了学生的合作意识。情景对话需要学生进行小组合作。因此在小组合作中使学生通过感知,体验,实践参与和合作探究等方式完成任务。在合作的过程中他们体验到合作的快乐,同学间的互助。在这较多的人际交往中培养与人相处的协调能力,培养良好的性格情感。
校本课程最大的生命力是学生的兴趣。就校本课程的内容而言,应选取与学生现实需要密切相关的内容。惟有如此,才能引起学生的学习兴趣,才能对学生的实际生活产生作用。就校本课程的设计而言,应尽可能满足每一个学生的需要,最大限度地切合每一个学生的性向、生活经验与文化背景,这样才能促使学生主动学习,并将所学的知识迁移到其他的情境之中,成为真正有用的知识,进而内化为学生人格的一部分。此外,校本课程的设计还要依据学生身心发展的阶段巧为安排,使学生能够在轻松愉快的情境下,进行有效的学习。基于这一点,在下半学期的校本课程开发中就情景对话这一项要更精心的选材,更贴近学生实际,更能激起学生的兴趣。另外还可增加如谜语,英语歌曲,课外词汇竞赛,书法竞赛等学生感兴趣的题材。
2. 校本课程开发最根本的一点就是基于个性化和体现个性化。具体表现在以下三个层面上:一是学生层面。校本课程开发旨在满足资质不一的学生的不同需求,可以更好地促进学生个性的充分发展。

因此在小组分组中可随学生意愿,组内同质,组间异质,充分发挥各自的能力。 二是教师层面。校本课程开发以教师的专业自主意识与专业自主权力为前提条件,这其实就是教师的专业个性化的反映。三是学校层面。从一定意义上讲,学生与教师个性化的形成会导致学校个性化的形成,会促进学校办学特色的形成。另外,校本课程开发立足于学校的实际,学校的教育理念与办学宗旨均是校本课程开发得以生存和发展的动因。这本身就是个性化问题。在这三个层面中,尊重学生的个性是最根本的。因此“个性化”的教育理念是校本课程开发的核心思想与灵魂。这种强烈的人文主义思想,要贯穿或渗透于校本课程开发的各个环节之中。
校本课程开发是以学生获得学习的利益为终极目的的。学校以学生为主体,课程本身亦是为学生的学习而存在的。鉴于此,在校本课程的实施过程中,教学形式应灵活多样,教学方式应新颖独特,要借助现代化的教学手段,使学生的学习成为在教师指导下主动的、富有个性的过程。
经过校本课程的实践,为了全面提升学生的英语综合运用能力,我们及时地对学生听说读写做出反馈。
