Everyoneneedsfriends.Weallliketofeelclosetosomeone.___36___isnicetohaveafriendtotalk,laugh,anddothingswith.Certainly,sometimesweneedtobealone.Wedon'talwayswantpeople___37___.Butwewouldfeellonelyifwe___38___hadafriend.Notwopeoplearejustthesame.Friends___39___don'tgetonwell.Thatdoesn'tmeanthattheynolongerlikeeachother.Mostofthetimetheywillmakeup(言归于好)andbecome____40____again.Sometimesfriendsmoveaway.Thenwefeelvery___41___.Wemissthemverymuch,butwecan___42___themandwritetothem.Andwecan___43___newfriends.Itisencouragingtofindouthowmuchwelikenewpeoplewhenwegettoknowthem.\nThere'smoregoodnewsforpeoplewhohavefriends.Theylive___44___thanpeoplewhodon't.Why?Friendscanmakeusfeelhappy.___45___happyhelpsyoustaywelloritcouldbemuchbetterthatsomeonecares.Ifsomeonecaresaboutyou,youtakebettercareofyourself.36.A.ItB.HeC.ThereD.Someone37.A.alongB.awayC.lonelyD.around38.A.everB.neverC.justD.really39.A.alwaysB.sometimesC.oftenD.usually40.A.sistersB.cousinsC.classmatesD.friends41.A.angryB.sadC.happyD.alone42.A.callB.askC.tellD.talk43.A.searchB.findC.makeD.know44.A.longerB.shorterC.slowerD.faster45.A.SmellingB.BeingC.SoundingD.Making(二)Anantiswalkingbytheriver.Helooksattheriverandsaystohimself.“___11___niceandcoolthewaterlooks!Imustdrinksomeofit.”Butwhenheisdrinking,he___12___intotheriver.“Oh.Help!Help!”theantcries.Adove(鸽子)issiting___13___thetree.Shehearshimandoffershimaleaf.“___14___upthatleaf,”shesays,“andyouwillgettothebank.”Theantclimbsupontotheleaf,andthewindblowstheleaftothebank.“Thankyou,dove.You’reso___15___.Youhavesavedmylife,andIwishIcoulddo___16___foryou.Goodbye!”theantsaysandrunshome.“Goodbye!”saysthedove,“Be___17___nottofallintotheriveragain.”Afterafewdays,thedoveisbuildinghernest.Andamanisraisinghisguntokill___18___.Theantseesthis,andruns___19___tobitetheman’sleg.“Ouch!Ouch!”Theman___20___aterriblepainanddropshisgun.Thedovefliesawayquickly.Sothemanpicksuphisgunandleaves.Thedovecomestotheantandsays,“Thankyou,mylittlefriend.Youhavesavedmylife.”Thelittleantissoglad,becausehecanhelpthedove.11.A.WhereB.WhatC.WhenD.How12.A.fallsB.drivesC.looksD.runs\n13.A.onB.inC.withD.down14.A.GetB.ComeC.ClimbD.Put15.A.quickB.kindC.patientD.worried16.A.anythingB.nothingC.everythingD.something17.A.carefulB.happyC.easyD.dangerous18.A.sheB.herC.himD.them19.A.slowlyB.offC.fastD.upstairs20.A.feelsB.takesC.causesD.gives(三)"Lookatthemoon,"mysonshoutsexcitedly.Ourson'sbestfriendjoinsinthecelebration,andsoonthewholeroomislookingoutofthewindow,enjoyingthissimplesight.It'snotthefirsttimewe've___16___ourloveofthemoonasafamily.Lasttimewecelebratedaswesatinataxiafterameaningfuldaytrip.Bothoursonandlittledaughterwerejumpingaroundwith___17___inthebackofthecabatthesightofthebiggoldenOctoberharvestmoon.Thedrivercouldn'thelpbutjoininthesimplejoy.Inordernotto___18___themoonwheneveritappears,weeven___19___ourbedroomtothebackofthehouse.Sooursonhasa___20___fromBathintheEasttotheForestintheWest.Ithaspaidoffasheoftennowshoutsdowntousaboutsunrises,sunsets,rainbowsorastorm.I'mnotsureifheknowsjust___21___thispleasesme.Atseven,itfeelslikeheisstartingtounderstandmoreabouttherhythmoflife,thepassingoftime,andhowit___22___ushumans.Heknowsthatthesundoesn't___23___riseinoneplace,thatittravels___24___thesky.Heknowsthatcloudswillgathernearhillsormountainsandarainbowoften____25____rain.Itfeelslikeheisdevelopinga____26____connectionwiththeearththroughthe____27____hespendssittingonhiswindowsill.Hethenunderstandswhatheisenjoyingistemporary(短暂的).The____28____doesn'tstayfullforlongandrainbowsdisappearquickly.____29____,he'scatchingthosemomentswithboth____30____andholdingtheminhisarms.AndwhatIloveaboutthisthemostisthathisfirstthoughtsarealwaystosharethisjoywiththosewhomheloves.16.A.sharedB.developedC.wantedD.accepted17.A.hopeB.joyC.courageD.peace18.A.seeB.welcomeC.loseD.miss19.A.decoratedB.changedC.preparedD.bought\n20.A.viewB.tripC.dreamD.memory21.A.howlongB.howoftenC.howmuchD.how22.A.influencesB.tellsC.worriesD.warns23.A.reallyB.evenC.justD.ever24.A.throughB.aboveC.acrossD.under25.A.appearsB.followsC.invitesD.brings26.A.softerB.harderC.lighterD.deeper27.A.thoughtsB.momentsC.effortsD.money28.A.cloudsB.rainbowsC.sunD.moon29.A.MoreoverB.OtherwiseC.SuddenlyD.However30.A.handsB.eyesC.earsD.feet(四)Twobrothersworkedtogetheronafarm.Onewasmarriedandhadalargefamily.___36___hadnowifeyet.Althoughtheylivedindifferenthouses,theysharedeverythingtheygotfromtheirfarm.Oneday,thesinglebrothersaidto___37___,“It’snotrightthatwesharealltherice.I’m___38___andIneedlessthanmybrother.”So,everynighthetookabagofricefromhisstore-roomand___39___acrossthefield___40___theirhouses,puttingitintohisbrother’sstore-room.Atthesametime,themarriedbrotherthought,“It’snotfairtosharealltherice.I’mmarriedandIhavemywifeandchildrento___41___mewhenIam___42___.However,mybrotherhasnoonetotakecareofhisfuture.”So,eachnighthe____43____tookabagofriceandputitintohisbrother’sstore-room.Severalmonthspassedby.The
