【命题规律】
1. 该题给出2篇对话,要求学生根据对话情景和上下文意思,
2. 从所给的7个选项选择得体的句子填入对话中(近年来湖南很少出选择题,其他省市出)
3. 在对话中的空白处各写出一个完整的句子,使对话恢复完整。
4. 以书面形式考查学生英语口头运用交际用语的能力及逻辑思维能力。
5. 主要考查学生是否在一定的交际情境中,对所谈事件及说话人之间的关系做正确的反应。
6. 此题设计的问题情景,符合学生的年龄特点和生活实际,突出试题的交际性。
7. 把话题设置在一个情境中,考查学生在特定的情境中运用语言的能力。
【命题趋势】
1. 侧重考查在特定的对话情景中运用日常交际用语的能力。
2. 内容上侧重考查以打电话、购物、看病、约会、问路等为主题的对话,辅以考查问候、介绍、告别、感谢、祝愿、请求允许、表示同意等日常交际用语的掌握和运用情况。
【解题技巧】
解补全对话题可采取以下三个步聚:
1首先阅读全篇对话,了解对话大意,在掌握了对话主题与大意的基础上着手做题较为快捷准确。
2根据情景语境,有选项的可结合待选语句,边读边做题。
3重读全篇对话,确定补全后的对话是否通顺连贯,语法是否正确。
解题时应正确使用会话用语,日常会话用语有一定的语言模式,应熟练掌握;理清询问或答语:若为询问句,则应注意询问句与其上下句的关系;若为疑问句,还要搞清楚何种疑问句,是一般疑问句,还是特殊疑问句,或选择疑问句。弄清了疑问句的种类,好对症下药,给出中肯的答语;注意上下句式关系:上下句子间有多种关系、有因果关系、转折关系,描述、过程、空间、举例、证明、分类、比较、对比、比拟、类推和添加等关系。对话句之间的关系搞清楚了,就容易根据这一特定语境确定选项。
一、情景对话选择
这种题型一般采用每组两句或两句以上的对话,突出其中某一句话,用问句做题干,将答语设计成四个选项(有时也用答语做题干,将问句设计成四个选项),要求从选项中选择一个最佳答语或问句。例如:

这种题型可以不通过对话方式考查,而是利用汉语或英语设置一定的情景,然后根据这一情景配备四个选项,要求考生根据提供的情景,选出最佳选项。例如:
三、情景对话配伍
这种题的特点是采用由Ⅰ、Ⅱ栏两部分组成的形式,分别在Ⅰ栏和Ⅱ栏中给出一定数量的上下句,两栏句子数量可以相等,也可略有差异,要求从Ⅱ栏中找出与Ⅰ栏中相对应的句子。
四、逻辑顺序排列
此类题采用一段具有某种语境关系的对话,打乱其顺序,任意排列。要求考生根据该对话的逻辑关系,将对话的各句子按正常的自然顺序排列出来。例如:
五、情景对话补全
“补全对话”题主要是以一个完整的功能项目展开交流,现在中考命题形式开始以某一场景展开交流为主,兼顾设置众多的交流内容的题型转变。考查的形式是补全对上句问题的回答或者是补全对下句所回答问题的提问。有的侧重考查补全在对话中起承上启下作用的句子。题型有选择式、填词式、填充式等。
在填写时应注意:①所使用的语言要符合英语在情景交流中的表达习惯;②利用好所学的固定搭配;③抓好关键词进行推断,使填词后组成的句子结构完整、合理。

从功能的角度来看,补全对话是以笔试的形式考查英语口语的交际能力,属于间接型口试。从04年开始,河南中招考试采用的都是填写句子的形式,它共有5小题,每题要求填写一个句子,完成一段10到14个来回的对话,以此来考查学生在具体情景和上下文中口语交际的能力。
《英语新课程标准》要求学生掌握初中毕业生学会使用一些常用的功能意念项目以达到初步交际的目的。这些功能意念项目包括:问候、介绍、告别、感谢、道歉、邀请、请求允许、祝愿和祝贺、提供帮助、约会、打电话、就餐、就医、购物、问路、谈论天气、语言交际困难、提醒注意、劝告、建议等20个项目。
要做好补全对话类的试题,除了熟悉常用功能意念语言之外,还要学会从上下文的语境来推测信息,整体把握对话的主题,所写句子只要符合语境,无语法错误即可得分。
要做到下面几点:
1. 通读对话全文,摸清对话发生的地点、时间,人物的身份,对话的内容。
2. 理清上下句的逻辑关系,使你填入的话和整篇对话文理通顺,融为一体;
3. 符合说英语国家人的习惯,不要按中国人的习惯去应答。
4. 注意空白处的标点。是问号就应填问句;是句号,就应填陈述句。
河南中考对此类试题的评分标准是非常开放的。

对话场景为游客向当地人求助,询问问旅馆和邮局信息等。每年对话的难度都不大,但失分率非常高,仅次于作文。初三复习要分配足够时间去操练常见句型、表达式。
从评分标准来看,给分很宽泛,只要上下文言之有理即可。答案中大小写错误,每两个扣0.5分;单词拼写错误每两个扣1分。
2009年试题特点如下: 1)坚持题目的开放性,坚持能力立意。
本题每空答案都不唯一,考查学生语言综合运用能力,考生在理解对话的基础上,可以进行合理推测,这给考生留下了很大的思考空间,考生可以从不同的角度分析和答题,只要言之有理均可以得分,充分体现了语言的多样性和丰富性。
2) 话题贴近生活,学生喜闻乐见。 本题设计一个位游客向当地人求助,询问问旅馆和邮局信息的情景,用地道的英语口语进行对话,虽然题干简洁,但是交际情景设置完整、自然、流畅,有利于考生根据情境和上下文进行合理推测,在具体的语境中得体、自然使用语言。本题考生出错较多的地方是时态运用、前后语言不吻合,代词主、宾格以及交际用语的固定用法和单词拼写。这就要求在平时的教学中,一定注意学生交际能力的训练和培养,多给学生创设情景,让他们自主实践语言,提高他们的实际运用能力.
