First of all, students should respect their teachers. They should pay attention in class. That means saluting (致敬) the teacher, standing from your chair when the teacher enters the classroom, attending any lesson attentively, etc. In class of a certain subject or teacher you don't like very much, if it's total anarchy (混乱), how can we talk about respect?
Play by the rules
If your teacher wants you to use widelined paper, do it! If he/she tells you to sharpen your pencils only before class starts, listen to him/her. If he/she doesn't accept late homework, do yours on time, Sometimes classroom rules seem strict or even silly, but most teachers know what's necessary to make things run smoothly and what it takes to let the learning begin. And the better the learning environment is, the smarter you'll be!
Expect him/her to like you
Teachers are teachers because they like kids. Given the chance, most teachers want to be your friends too. Respect your teacher, but don't be afraid of him/her. He/She wants you to have a great school year just as much as you want to have!
Put first things first
Friends are a fun part of school. But sometimes they're not the most important part. When your teacher is teaching, give him/her your full attention. Even when it's hard to do — recess will come soon, and that's the time for playing with your friends.
24.Which of the following would be the best title for the text?

The most exciting party that students can go to would have to be a dance party.Students attend it in dresses similar to those of Hollywood stars and the atmosphere is comparable to an Oscar Award party.Since such a party is for seniors, students usually stay up the night trying to enjoy their last year in high school.
In American schools, instead of the teachers going to different rooms, students have their own class schedules (课程表) and go to different classrooms. When a student is away from school, they must have an explanation for being away along with the signature(签名) of a parent. The signed paper is then handed in to the school office.High school drop outs and students being expelled (除名) are not that uncommon in the States.High absences without excuses are one of the reasons why students are expelled from school.American students also enjoy a number of activities out of school like cheerleading (拉拉队),student government and a host of different sports.

Carrot juice, because of its many healthy benefits, is commonly called the "magic juice". It has been found that adding carrot juice to people’s diets greatly improves their health. And its delicious
taste makes it popular with all members of the family as a beverage.
Carrot juice is one of the richest sources of vitamin A that can be used in the daily diet. Lack (缺乏) of vitamin A can cause dryness and damage to the skin, nails and hair. Drinking carrot juice to increase the vitamin A in the diet is said to be good for many parts of the body, including the bones and teeth.
Drinking carrot juice is thought to be extremely helpful to the liver (肝脏), because vitamin A helps to clean the liver and reduce fat in it. And it is suggested that drinking carrot juice should be done regularly, rather than just from time to time.
Drinking carrot juice is also thought to improve the eyesight because of the vitamin A in the juice. Lack of vitamin A can lead to night blindness, which can be very dangerous, especially when the person is driving a car. An easy way to find out if you are lacking in vitamin A is to walk from a bright room into a dark room. Your eyes may have some trouble in getting used to the change of light if you are lacking in vitamin A.
How can you make carrot juice? Wash some carrots well in cold water. Scrape (刮) them lightly, but do not peel them, as this will take away valuable vitamins and minerals that lie close to the skin.
