Bob is a boy of eight. His father works in a cinema and his mother works in a shop.
He lives not far from his school. He always walks there and walks home. On his way
home, he has to pass a playground. It is very wet after the rain. He likes playing
on the ground. One day, when he got home, his clothes were all wet. His mother became
angry and said, “Don’t play in the water on your way from school!”
On the next day, Bob came home with wet and dirty clothes. His mother became even
angrier. “I’ll tell your father if you come back wet again,” said his mother.
“He’ll punish you, you know.”
The third day the little boy was dry when he came home. “You’re a good boy today,”
his mother said happily, “You didn't play in the water.”

Last summer, Mark became a middle school student. He took a test in a class in the
first month. He finished the questions very easily until he read the last one, “What
is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?”
Of course, this question was a little special. Mark saw that woman several times.
She was tall and her hair was dark, but Mark didn’t talk with her and didn’t know
her first name. Mark gave his paper to the teacher when the class was over. He didn’t
answer the last question. One student asked the teacher if the last question was
important in this test.
“Of course,” said the teacher. “In our life, we will meet many people. Everyone
is important. You should care about them. You may only smile or say ‘Hello’ to
them.”
Mark never forgot that question. He also learned that the woman’s first name was
Green.
