经过前面听说以及语法教学,学生对本单元的目标已经有了较好的掌握,能够较好的运用目标语言表达自己的思想,这为接下来的阅读课打下来良好的基础。另外,文本的话题是机器人,时代感很强,大部分学生会比较感兴趣。但是,我们班的学生阅读量不是很大,视野也不够宽阔,同时在阅读策略和效率上还有待提高,需要老师设置一系列的教学环节进行有效地指导。

任务型教学法:
整个教学过程都是通过学习和阅读的任务进行的。在这个过程中,学生将成为真正的主人,教师仅仅起了引导的作用。

. Fewer people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring, but robots will never get bored.

进入阅读环节中的Careful reading环节时,为了降低语篇难度,也为了节约时间,我进行了分段教学,即给课文的每个段落精心设计了几个任务,让学生带着任务去阅读。
1. What do the robots look like in the movies?
2. What can the robots do for people?
3. Where are the robots already working?
4. What kinds of jobs do the robots do? Why?

They do simple and boring jobs over and over again. Because they will never get bored.
Scientists are now trying to make robots look like humans and do the same things as we do. Some robots in Japan can walk and dance. They are fun to watch. However, some scientists

that although we can make robots move like people, it will be difficult to make them really think like a human. For example, scientist James White thinks that robots will never be able to wake up and know where they are. But many scientists
