阅读理解(六) 观点看法(建议)‎ A Traveling can be expensive. But there are some ways to save money when traveling. Try some of the advice below on your next vacation and your wallet will thank you.‎ Look for city tourism cards. With the card, you can pay less at restaurants and shops. You don’t have to wait for a long time at busy attractions. You might even get free tickets to top tourist attractions. City tourism cards can save your money and time without question. ‎ Don’t get the best room. How long will you stay in your room? Will you just be sleeping there?Do you really need a bigger room with a good view(景色)?‎ Find a hotel outside a city. It can help you save some money by choosing a hotel away from big tourist attractions, for you are always doing the same—go to the attractions and then return to your hotel to sleep.‎ Book(预定) a room with a kitchen. Although some people might not like to cook while on vacation, I don’t mind making breakfast in my room. We always eat at a nice restaurant on our last night of the vacation. I’d rather eat breakfast and lunch at the hotel and then spend much money on a delicious supper.‎ ‎1.With you can pay less at restaurants and shops.( ) ‎ A.ID cards B.tourism cards C.bank cards D.phone cards ‎2.The underlined words “tourist attractions” in Paragraph 2 mean .( ) ‎ A.旅游方式 B.旅游设施 ‎ C.旅游手册 D.旅游景点 ‎3.To save some money, the writer advises tourists to .( ) ‎ A.get the best room ‎ B.live near big tourist attractions C.live away from big tourist attractions D.take a map with them when traveling ‎4.The writer prefers to make breakfast and lunch in the hotel because .( ) ‎ A.they are healthier and more delicious 6‎ B.he likes the cookers in the hotel C.there are not any restaurants in the neighborhood ‎ D.he’d rather spend much money on a delicious supper ‎5.What does the passage mainly talk about?( )‎ A.How to save money when traveling. ‎ B.How to get a tourism card.‎ C.How to find a hotel outside a city. ‎ D.How to book a room on the Internet.‎ B [2019·连云港]‎ ‎ You think it’s “cool” to carry your backpacks and head out to school. But if you don’t know exactly how to choose, load, lift and wear them—these all-important accessories(配件)can be a pain in the back. Not to mention the neck, head and shoulders. ‎ Backpacks can influence your health. Carrying a heavy load improperly can lead to poor body position; and even hurt the spinal column(脊柱). This can cause muscle strain, headaches, back, neck and arm pain. ‎ For example, if it is carried on one shoulder, a heavy backpack forces the muscles and spine to balance the unequal weight. This may increase the possible back problems later in life. ‎ More than 50 percent of young people suffer back pain by their teenage years. Research shows that this could be mainly caused by improper use of backpacks. ‎ Here’s some advice to help you carry backpacks comfortably and safely. ‎ Choose the right backpack. Forget leather(皮革)! It looks great, but it’s far too heavy. Go for canvas(帆布). Pick a pack that has two wide, adjustable, comfortable shoulder straps(带子),along with a hip or waist strap, and plenty of pockets. Make sure the pack fits properly and its size is suitable for the wearer’s body. ‎ Packing it properly. Only put in the pack what is needed for that day. It’s a good idea to know what each object weighs. The total weight of the filled pack should be no more than 10 to 15 percent of the wearer’s own body weight. Pack the heaviest objects close to the body, and place little ones outside, away from the back. ‎ Putting the backpack on. Put the pack on a smooth surface, at waist height. Put on the pack, one shoulder at a time, then adjust(调整)the straps to fit comfortably. Remember when lifting a backpack, or anything, to lift using the arms and legs and to bend at the knees. ‎ 6‎ The right way to wear a backpack. Both shoulder straps should be used, and adjusted so that the pack fits the body, without hanging to one side. Backpacks should never be worn over just one shoulder. You should be able to move your hands between the backpack and your back. The waist strap should also be worn. ‎ Take the above advice, and you may not complain back pain, numbness or weakness in your arms and legs any more.‎ ‎1.What could mainly cause some young people to suffer back pain by their teenage years?( )‎ A.Too much homework.‎ B.Poor treatment for backs.‎ C.Improper use of backpacks.‎ D.Unhealthy sleep position. ‎ ‎2.Which of the following does the writer suggest?( )‎ ‎①Choose a leather backpack because it looks “cool” to go to school.‎ ‎②Pick a pack whose size is suitable for the wearer’s body.‎ ‎③Make sure the backpack contains only what is needed for that day.‎ ‎④Pack the heaviest objects close to the body, and place little ones outside.‎ ‎⑤Put the pack on a smooth surface, above the waist height.‎ A.①②④ B.①③⑤‎ C.②③④ D.②③⑤‎ ‎3.If a boy weighs 40kg, how heavy should his filled backpack be at most?( )‎ A.About 4kg. Half an hour? Fifteen minutes? University of Toledo researchers found that job seekers have under 30 seconds to make their mark on interviewers.‎ Since first impressions are sometimes made before job seekers even open their mouths, nonverbal ‎ 6‎ communication—or, body language—is an essential part of any interview.‎ Seeing eye-to-eye Some people make too little eye contact. Others make too much. The right amount, according to experts, lies somewhere in between. “Make eye contact and periodically break away,” says David Givens, Director of the Center for Nonverbal Studies in Spokane, Washington. “The one caution I would give,” he adds, “is that when you break away, do not look down. It gives connotations of submissiveness.”‎ Be forward thinking The interviewer offers you a chair. You sit down and lean back. You’ve already made your first mistake. Always lean forward during a job interview. “Leaning back shows an attitude of being too relaxed,” says Givens. “Leaning to the side can connote that you didn’t like the interviewer.” Givens suggests leaning about 10 degrees forward.‎ Avoid strong expressions Interviews are not personality parades. Nonverbal communication experts warn against showing too much expression during interviews. “You want to show some positive emotion, but it has to be understanding and conservative,” says Givens. The one exception is the handshake. For that, Givens suggests a “toothy smile”.‎ ‎1.The right amount of eye contact should be .( ) ‎ A.little B.much C.neither too little nor too much D.none of the above ‎2.Job seekers have to make an impression on interviewers in .( ) ‎ A.thirty minutes B.fifteen minutes C.thirty seconds D.fifteen seconds ‎3.If you’re offered a chair during a job interview, you’d better .( ) ‎ A.sit down and lean back B.sit down and lean forward C.sit down and sit straight D.sit down and lean to the side ‎4.During interviews there should be expression.( ) ‎ 6‎ A.no B.much C.less D.none of the above ‎5.Shaking hands with the interviewer you’d better .( ) ‎ A.laugh B.not smile C.smile without showing your teeth D.smile with your teeth shown ‎【参考答案】‎ 6‎ A [主旨大意]本文是一篇说明文。文章主要针对“如何在旅游中省钱”这一话题而提出了几条建议。‎ ‎1.B 细节理解题。根据第二段第一、二句“Look for city tourism cards.
