小学英语PEP 五年级上册Unit 4 What can you do?第一课时 一、简介 通过本次任务型活动,让学生学会What can you do? I can …能够简单介绍自己能做哪些家务,如: I can cook the meals. I can water the flowers. 二、学生分析 本次任务型活动课适合小学五年级的学生。五年级学生具有贪玩、好动、好奇心强,爱表现自己的特点。他们已经学过了四年的英语,已经具备了一定的基本知识和技能,对基本的课堂用语,教师的指令已经基本掌握,在图片或多媒体课件的帮助下能听懂、读准英语单词和句子。在教师的指导下能做一系列任务活动。并且在四年级学生已经学习过一些动词短语,如:water the flowers,sweep the floor,set the table,make the bed等,为本课时的教学做了很好的铺垫。 三、教材分析 本课时是小学英语PEP教材五年级上册Unit4 Part Alet’s ‎ learn的内容。这是一篇十分贴近学生生活的课文,因为做家务是生活中很频繁的事。抓住这一点,设计一系列的任务活动容易激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生在学习英语的同时,用英语解决实际生活中的问题。 四、教学设计 核心任务: 1.能力目标: (1)能够听、说、认读词组cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clearn the bedroom, empty the trash. (2)能够听懂、说唱歌谣“Dog, dog, what can you do?”,并熟悉运用句型:What can you do? 2.知识目标: (1)掌握A let’s learn的新单词、新句型。 (2)运用新学的句型以及单词进行日常交际。 3.情感、策略、文化等有关目标: (1) 情感态度:养成讲究卫生、热爱劳动的好习惯,培养乐于助人的优秀品质。 (2) 学习策略:注重小组合作学习,培养相互沟通和交流的能力。 (3) 文化目标:了解一些有关安全和环保的生活常识。 4.教学重、难点 本课时的教学重点是Let’s learn部分五种家务劳动的表达方法,要求学生做到四会,并能在情景中自然的加以运用。教学难点是如何利用所提供的对话和情景,以旧引新,让学生进入学习状态。 五.课前准备   1.教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、头饰、英文卡片、课件 ‎。 2.教师准备录音机及录音带。 六. 教学媒体和教学技术选用: 选用媒体教学,针对本节课的内容,通过多媒体软件,多种感官的调动,使学生对英语更有兴趣,对所学知识印象更深刻,引起学生的注意力,突破文中的重难点,完善教学。   七、教学过程(一).Warm up ‎(l)Let’s chant  ‎ ‎   ① 教师播放start部分Let’s chant的录音,让学生边听边看图并能理解歌谣的意思。‎ ‎   ② 反复听2-3遍后,可带领学生小声重复。‎ ‎   ③ 拍手掌握节奏,教师将Mike变成本班同学的名字进行提问:Tom, Tom, what can you do?可提问3-4人。‎ ‎  (2)口语练习 谁的本领大:‎ ‎   ① 男、女生进行比赛,分别用I can…来介绍自己会做的事,看看谁的本领大。‎ ‎   ② 请同学边说边用动作表示,重复不加分,哪组说的最多即为获胜组。‎ ‎(l)Greetings 师生对话。  T: Good morning. / Good afternoon. Ss: Good morning. / Good afternoon. T: What’s the weather like today? Ss:It’s sunny. /cloudy…. (2)T:Let’s do some warming up exercises. Plaese stand up! Follow me, let’s do!Run, run I can run.(jump,swim,fly,clean,sweep,draw…)然后听指令做动作,now,listen to me and you do the actions.Here we go.进行简单的热身活动,引起学生的兴趣 ,并给予适当的鼓励。(Well done.)   (二). Presentation(新课呈现)呈现和学习完成任务所需的语言知识,介绍任务的完成和实施任务的步骤. 1.Start  Please look at your desk, you can find a piece of paper.(提前在每位学生的桌子上发一张调查表)Today I want you make a survey in our class.(板书课题并教读)Unit 4 What can you do? 告诉同学们今天老师想在班上做一个小调查,请你们调查一下你的同学或朋友都会做什么家务。 I want to know what you can do at home.After the new lesson,please interview your classmates. 一开始就设计任务,让学生带着任务去学习新知识,为后来的学习活动做铺垫。   2.Let’s learn    (1) 点击课件向同学们介绍:Let me introduce a new friend to you.Her name is Lucy.She often helps her mother do some ‎ housework.So she is helpful. (Lucy在家经常帮助妈妈做家务,因此她很能干,介绍helpful 的意思是“能干的,有帮助的”并板书教读新单词)Are you helpful? What can you do?然后播放Lucy在家里做家务的录象,带领全班一起反复跟读5个词组,提醒学生注意语音语调。I’m helpful! I can…带着明显的任务目标,以小组形式,在教师的引导下,充分结合自己的已有知识和生活经验,通过实践、思考、讨论、交流和合作等方式学习和使用英语,积极主动地去完成学习任务。在完成任务的过程中掌握新知识,并能将所学知识融会贯通,运用到自己的生活中去. 4.Production 设计游戏任务,激发兴趣,主动参与 A guessing game (1)Please look at my mouth , guess what am I saying?(看嘴型猜出相应的动词短语,并给予猜对的同学以鼓励) (2)教师准备好英文卡片,每组的第一个同学上前来任选一张。抽卡片的同学只能做出一个动作,如扫地,请本组的同学猜一猜并说出英文sweep the floor,这时前面的同学就可以说:Right!
