学情分析: 在本堂课之前,学生已经学习了和接触了比较级,并对比较级的变化有了一定的认识。
一、教学目标:
1. Be able to talk about the pictures of four seasons with “-er” words.
2. Be able to get the main meaning about the passage.
3. Be able to finish the dialogue and the questions after reading.

Pre-task procedure
1. Pre-reading
1. Look and tick
Present the pictures
Spring is coming! The sky is clearer and the sun is brighter. Can you think of any other changes? Look and tick.
2. Think and say
Make Ss talk about the changes in spring.
For example: It’s getting warmer. The day is getting longer and the night is getting shorter.
3. Present the setting
Spring is so beautiful. Wu Yifan and his family are going on a trip to the countryside. Wu Yifan has a story to tell Robin.
读前练习和热身。
尝试让学生运用所学说出关于春天的变化。
2.While-reading
1. First reading
Fast reading and answer the question:
Who is in this story? Little duck and Old tree.
4. Second reading
a. Read in details and finish Read and circle.
b. Make Ss underline the words “lower and lower”, “shadow”, “grow” and so on. Let Ss make a guess on their meanings.
c. Meanwhile T can ask more questions to check Ss.
For example:
(1) What is Little duck doing?
(2) When does the story happen?
阅读中分为三次阅读。

3. 跟读及分角色朗读
1. Third reading
a. Read after the tape. Try to imitate the pronunciation and tones.
b. Make Ss finish the dialogue and read in roles.
3.Post-reading
1. Think and answer:
Do you agree with Old tree? Why?
2. Talk in groups:
Can you answer Little duck’s question? What’s your answer?
1. Circle the words with “-er” and sum up.
读后活动。
让学生思考并讨论:为什么小鸭子的影子越来越长?
小结以er结尾的单词并归纳。
4.Homework
1. Listen and read after the tape for 15 minutes.
2. Try to act the dialogue in groups.
3. Sum up about “-er” words.
