教学目标:
1.情感目标:通过谈论与动物有关的话题,使学生了解动
物是人类的朋友,培养学生爱护动物的观念。
2. 知识目标:(1)能够听说读写有关动物种类、特点及动物名称的单词.
(2) 能够正确适用本课有关动物种类的的句型。
(3)能够通过阅读了解哺乳动物、昆虫、鸟类、爬行动物及鱼类的主要特点。
3.能力目标:(1)能够就某一动物的种类、高度、重量、速度
等主要特点进行交流。
(2)能够模仿范例写出某一动物的种类及特点。

教学目标:
1. 情感目标:了解身边的一些动物 ,使孩子们认识到动物是人类的朋友。
2. 知识目标:(1)能够听说读写动物的几个大种类 。
(2) 能够正确适用本课的句型,谈论一些动物的种类。
3. 能力目标:(1)能够谈论动物的种类。
(2)能够运用所学句型进行交际。
教学重点:1、词汇:reptile, bird , fish, insect , mammal ,crocodile , ostrich, penguin , shark , whale , butterfly , hippo ,zebra , lion .
2、句型:What kind of animal are … ? They are … .
They are a kind of … .
教学难点:1、较难掌握的词汇。
2、模仿范例说出自己所喜欢的动物的种类和特点。

(3)掌握句型 as …as 的用法。
3 能力目标:(1)能够谈论动物的种类。
(2)能够填写动物卡片 。
教学重点:1、词汇:hummingbird, centimeter , kilometer , giraffe 的发音,及书写。
2、句型:What kind of animal are … ? They are … .
They are a kind of … .
教学难点:1、较难掌握的词汇。
2、用 as …as 句型结构来描述动物的某一特点。
