Food pictures that you display on Instagram can look more stylish if you follow our tips. There are a few ways to help you make your food shots more unique.
1. Styling accompanied by a story
Before you take a picture, think about it and decide what it is that you can tell your followers about it. Some might want to tell about the person who is eating the dish. Whether it’s your first meal at a Chinese restaurant or a birthday party at a cozy cafeteria, describe the surroundings and background as well as the reason that made you choose the food in the picture.
2. Opt for natural lighting
Flash is not as flattering as natural light. The latter makes pictures look much better. The only problem is that you can hardly find natural light in bars, cafes and restaurants. What you can do is to take your dish and walk over to a window. If you are having your lunch or dinner outside, remember to find a place with shadow since direct sunlight casts shadows on food and other items.
3. Pick your perspective
Choose the right perspective. One of the best positions is shooting from the top
down. This is how you’ll show the whole table. You might sometimes need to climb on a chair to take that perfect shot! Eye level shots look irresistible. You may try and hold your dish out in front of you. Do not hesitate to ask a random person to stand behind you and take the shot for you. Vertical pictures are also worth your attention.
4. Go beyond the Instagram filter
Use special apps to keep your pictures bright. Experiment a bit and see which app is your favorite. Use various filters and tools to make your shots more attractive. Adjust the brightness. Try out a different contrast.
21. Why do you describe the surroundings and background as well as the reason that made you choose the food in the picture?
A. You want people to know more about your life.
B. It makes your photos more vivid through the description.
C. You are fond of making stories.
D. You find it interesting to do so.
22.While shooting, you need to find a place with shadow when you are having your lunch or dinner outside in order to___________.
A.make your photo more attractive.
B. hide from the heat.
C.keep away from the shadows cast on food and other items when shooting.
D,eat quickly.
23. According to the text, what is the best position when you are shooting?
A.. Shooting at any position. B.Shooting at the food or items directly.
C. Shooting from the opposite direction.D. Shooting from the top down.

"And they have to be compatible with the century-old facilities in Boston."
This is the first time for Chinese rail equipment to be used in the United States. The new cars are designed to run for 30 years. CRRC showcased the model car in Boston on April 3. CCTV reported that the model was praised by the local leaders and citizens, including the governor of Massachusetts Charlie Baker. Stonehenge
For years, the closest theories that anyone had as to how the stones of Stonehenge were transported ranged from Merlin using magic to aliens. Uses for Stonehenge ranged from ritual magic to a life-size calendar. But researchers and archaeologists have recently discovered additional stones and monuments in the ground around Stonehenge which means that the still-standing stones were merely an important point amongst many more stones. This also gives a stronger hint that the stones were used as a calendar to track the Sun for the purposes of keeping track of seasons for farming.
Mayans
After the Spaniards invaded the Mayan civilization, the mystery was that the people of this ancient civilization completely disappeared. People thought that aliens give the mayans their technology or that the Mayans were aliens themselves and "went home" after the Spanish colonization of the Americas, thus explaining why the Mayans left without a trace. But researchers have found that it's simply not true. The Mayans actually spread out and formed smaller colonies of their own and grew Mayan population from there. There are areas of South America where the mayan language is still spoken and you can find descendants of these ancient people. Also the Mayan calendar was one of the biggest mysteries, which indicated that the ending of the calendar also meant the end of the world. These same surviving Mayans were the same people debunking (揭穿...的真相) the prediction and insisted that the calendar meant a new age, not the end of the world.
Terracotta Army
After Chinese farmers discovered the massive Terracotta Army that made archaeological history, scientists and researchers had no idea how the thousands of clay soldiers were designed to protect the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang, making it one of the biggest mysteries of ancient China. Initially, historians thought the soldiers were constructed in an assembly-line fashion, but each warrior had its own specific feature. Historians then took photos of each warrior's ears which are as unique as our fingerprints and discovered that each warrior was based on a real-life person.
28. What is Stonehenge more than likely to be used as?
A. A place where people can hold religious activities
B. A place of interest built by the ancients
C. A base built by aliens on the Earth
D. A calendar to track the Sun

B. The Mayans left without a trace.
C. The ending of the Mayan calendar also meant the end of the world.
D. The Mayan civilization completely disappeared.
30. Which of the following is TRUE about Terracotta Army?
A. Each warrior was not unique.
B. Scientists knew clearly about the way the clay soldiers were designed.
C. Many unknowns made Terracotta Army a mystery of ancient China.
D. Warriors weren't modeled after real-life persons.
31. The purpose of the passage is to ________.
A. persuade readers to visit the three tourist attractions
B. explore some unsolved mysteries behind ancient cultures
C. introduce three tourist attractions to readers
D. inform readers of the result of a study

Another dream: Children act in Chinese literature classics
As a series of big screen works shined during the past National Day holiday, a small screen production became a hot topic on social media.
It was a nine-episode TV adaptation of Chinese literature classic, The Dream of the Red Chamber. Despite their young age, the cast aged 6-12 skillfully portrayed the characters and won much applause.
To many faithful readers of the book, the young actors and actresses brought the characters alive again. "I was overwhelmed by their perfect acting in the TV drama. I never expected they could play so well. This one is as good as the 1987 TV adaptation," Douban user Weiruoliuxu said. The TV version(the 36-episode series) ,directed by Wang Fulin, took three years to complete. The latest children's version is in honor of the 30th anniversary of the 1987 work . Ouyang Fenqiang, who played the leading protagonist, Jia Baoyu, in the 1987 version, also was invited to guide the young actors. "The acting skill of these young children is excellent; I must give them many praises," the actor posted on his Sina Weibo, Ouyangbaoyu 1987.
The work belongs to a program titled, Xiao Xigu (literally, young artists), which is supported by the Hunan Broadcasting System. Launched in 2015, the program has reshot a series of classic TV series performed by children, including Liu Sanjie, Jiao Yulu, Red Guards on Honghu Lake and The White-haired Girl. Its children's version of Lady White Snake, based on the 1992 namesake TV adaptation, also was a hit on small screen in 2016.
The program claims to let children "Learn from Classics, Act in Practice", yet the works played by the young people also triggered many concerns besides countless praises on the internet. Some netizens said such works played by children should be limited, since young people just imitated adults in these productions. Some even connected these children's versions with child exploitation "A child should behave like a child, rather than speaking like an adult," a netizen named Guo commented. Some doubted the young performers could understand the characters and even the essence of the work they played.
However, the original book The Dream of the Red Chamber begins the story when the main characters are still in their childhood and teenage years. The latest TV drama played by these young children is not totally unfaithful to the original work.
32. Why is the program titled, Xiao Xigu launched?
A.It can make children love acting.
B.It can bring children fame and fortune.
C.It can let children learn from classics and put them into practice.
D. It can make classics public .
33. Which of the followings was made in 2016?
A.Liu Sanjie B. Lady White Snake,
C. Red Guards on Honghu Lake D. The White-haired Girl.
34. How do netizens react to this thing?
A. They think it is completely faithful to the original work.
B. They take it that the young performers can understand the essence of the work they play.
C. They think children should be encouraged to act in movies.
D. They are skeptical of the young actors’ understanding of the work they have played
35. Who guided the young actors in the nine-episode TV adaptation of Chinese literature classic?
A. Shi Yanqin B. Ouyang Fenqiang C. Weiruoliuxu D Wang Liping

Inventors have been tried to make flying cars since 1930s, according to Robert Mann, a airline industry expert. But Mann thinks Terrafugia has come closer than anyone to make the flying car into a reality. The govemment has already permitted the company to use special materials to make them easier for the vehicle to fly. The Transition is now going on crash tests to make sure it meets federal safety siandard.
Mann said Terrafugia was helped by the Federal Aviation Administration’s decision five years before to create a separate set of standards for light sport aircraft, which is lower than those for pilots of larger planes. Terrafugia says an owner would need to pass a test and complete 20 hours of flying time to be able to fly the Transition.

I want to share some of the top 20 answers with you. (20)The most popular answer was “hang out with friends”. That should come as no surprise to those of you who have ever been in high school. (20)No.2 was “play sports”. I'm definitely not one of those people, but it's an important way for a lot of people to stay in shape. (20)No.3 was “work”. I have a part-time job four days a week after school, and I can tell you from personal experience, it's pretty awesome to have that extra
cash in your pocket! (20)Let's move to No.5, “do homework”. Apparently, seniors are not too interested in studying! Well, there you have it.I will also be publishing the results of this survey in the school newspaper next week, so you can see the complete results there.
