My favourite film is Star Wars. It takes place
in the future when people travel into space

非谓语动词结构。
Ø 没有人称和数的变化,在句子中不能单独作
谓语。
2. 作用:
Ø 在句子中可以作主语、宾语、宾语补足语、
定语、表语和状语等成分。
Ø 动词不定式具有动词的特点,可以有自己的
宾语或补语,构成动词不定式短语。
3. 不定式作宾语的常见情况:
(1)后面只能接to do sth.作宾语的动词。
口诀记忆如下:

Western theatre started in Greece, around 600 BC.
