First of all , ask a student to in the front of the classroom ask :What is he wearing? What is she wearing? to review the words that we have learned in lesson 1. Ask more questions.
New concepts
1 New or old
I will take a new book to the classroom.
First I show the new book to the class and ask :What’s this? Ss : It’s a book .Oh yes ,it’s a book. Then I will take an old book and say , it’s a book,too. But ,this is a new book .(Show the new book) This is an old book.(show the old book). Then I’ll lead them to read the sentences several times. (Write “new” and “old” on the blackboard)
Listen to the tape of part 1
Ask the Ss to read part 1 by themselves.
2 Let’s do it.
Demonstrate how to describe the clothes.
This is a new______. This is an old _____.
3 I like your skirt.
Stand in front of a student and say :I like your_____. I like your _____. Guide the Ss to say :thanks . Then ask :Is it new?
T: I like your trousers.
S: Thanks .
T: Are they new?
S:……
Listen to the tape.
Lead the Ss to read the dialogue.
Role play.
反复对比,让学生通过对比理解衣服的单复数。并且理解代词和BE动词的单复数的用法。
4 Let’s chant
First lead the Ss to read the chant line by line.
Then ,listen to the tape.
Ask them to read with the tape.
Read the chant by themselves.
Class closing
Say the chant again.
Read lesson 2 three times .
Homwork :
Write the new words three times.
