Lesson 9: Arriving in Beijing     ‎ ‎(冀教版五年级英语)            ‎ 一、教学目标:‎ ‎1、知识目标:‎ 使学生正确地说、读、写、用词汇“men、women、children、people、many、everyone”。学生能够正确的使用句型“This is a _____.These are_____.”‎ ‎2、能力目标:‎ ‎(1)使学生能练习写、说相关名词的复数形式的句子。‎ ‎(2)培养以旧带新掌握一定的语言技巧的能力。‎ ‎3、情感目标:‎ 培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感,增强学生合作意识。提高学生民族自尊心和责任感。‎ 二、教学重难点:‎ ‎1、使学生掌握单词“men、women、children、people、many、everyone”。‎ ‎2、学生能够正确运用句子“This is a _____.These are_____.”并能够区分单、复数。‎ 三、教学过程:‎ 一、Class opening ‎ ‎1.Greeting ‎2.导入:‎ Lead a dialogue T: Do you like to go on trips?‎ S:Yes.‎ T:Where do you want to go?‎ Ss:.......‎ T:Today we’ll go on a trip to Beijing by train.‎ ‎(课件出示火车)‎ T: Here’s the train.LiMing,his mother,Danny and Jenny are on the train.Where are they now ? let’s listen .‎ 二、New Concepts Step 1、(课件播放课文N2第一部分)‎ T:Where are they?‎ S1:(引导学生说出)They arrive in Beijing.‎ T:Let's listen again and then tell me :Who is tired and hungry?‎ ‎(再次播放课文N2的第一部分)‎ T:Who is tired and hungry ?‎ S1:….‎ S2:…..‎ T:(引导学生说)Everyone is tired and hungry.(领读几遍everyone)‎ Step 2、Introduce children,women,men,babies ‎(课件出示Jenny)‎ T:Who is this ?‎ S1:This is Jenny.‎ T:Is she a boy or a girl?‎ S2:No,she is a girl.‎ T:(指生说) These are girls ,many girls.(领读many)‎ T:You are boys and girls.You are children. (领读children)‎ T:Boys and girls are children.‎ 用同样的方法介绍babyies,women ,men, people.‎ Step 3、Chant(课件出示并配有节奏感强的音乐)‎ This is a man,one man These are men,many men This is a woman,one woman These are women,many women Boys and girls are children Men,women and childen are people.‎ Step 4、Do exercise.‎ ‎(出示大卡片,每组一张,让学生看图写单词或句子。)‎ This is a______.‎ These are ______ _______.‎ Step 5、学生展示 Step 6理解第二部分课文 T:There are many people in the Beijing train station.Let's see what are they doing? ‎ ‎(播放课文N2第二部分)‎ Step 7、Play a game.(练习课文第二部分句子)‎ T:Here are four pictures .Can you find the children playing cards.‎ ‎(学生分别对四幅图进行猜测并描述四幅图)‎ Step 8、拓展练习 ‎1.(出示福娃欢欢和贝贝,演示对话)‎ ‎2.课件出示六幅图,让学生根据演示自己编对话。‎ 三、Class closing T:Look,the 2008 Olympic Games is coming.All the people are waiting for it.Let’s say “Beijing, 2008, Good Luck.”‎ Ss:Beijing,2008, good luck.( 音乐起)‎ ‎ ‎
