Step 1.Let’s review
What are you doing?
I’m reading a book.
Step 2. Presentation
1. Is Jenny singing?
(1) use the vocabulary cards to teach woman, baby, cry, sleep, man, talk. Raise the card and explain it. Read the new words please listen. Teach each new word in the same way. Write the word on the blackboard and let the students read it again.
(2) let the students look at the first part of the sixth page. Take a few minutes to discuss what the students see in the picture. Consolidate the words we have learned today through discussion. Pointing to the picture of two mothers holding the baby, they asked the two pictures of the students to be different.
Teacher: What is the baby doing in the first picture?
The whole class: The baby is crying.
Teacher: Look at the second picture. Is the baby crying?
The whole class: No. The baby isn't crying.
Teacher: What is the baby doing now?
The whole class: The baby is sleeping.
(3) now playing sixth pages of the first part of the recording, reading repeat broadcast two times or three times, and then the students discuss.

If the teacher takes a doll to the class, you can show it to the student with the doll that it is a baby.
Teacher: What do you see?
The whole class: I see a baby.
The teacher pretended to be singing to the doll.
Teacher: What am I doing?
The whole class: You are singing.
Pretend the doll is crying (Waaaa!).
Teacher: What is the baby doing?
The whole class: The baby is crying.
And then pretend that the doll is asleep.
Teacher: What is the baby doing now?
The whole class: The baby is sleeping.
Step 3. Practice
Pair work. Point and talk.
Look at the questions and explain to the students how to do the exercises. Look at the picture and take a few minutes to discuss what you see in the picture and what the characters in the picture are doing. Read the words on the right side and let the students point out the person who is doing the action in the picture. When the students are ready, two groups of activities are carried out. The students take turns asking questions and answering questions.
Step 4. Summary
Key vocabulary:
Woman, baby, cry, talk, man, sleep
Now the interrogative sentence is asked and answered:
---What... Doing?
---She 's/He' s/I am...
Step 5. Homework
Learn to sing the Part2 songs of the text and sing for you in the next class.
