Lesson 21 A Party for Li Ming 教学内容分析 本课是义务教育教科书冀教版英语(三年级起点)六年级下册第四单元的第三课,是一节新授课。本单元中,Li Ming的加拿大之行即将结束,Jenny和Danny给Li Ming安排了一场意外的告别晚会。本课是一节对话课,学习打电话的相关句型和文化习俗,内容接近学生的生活。‎ 教学对象分析 本课的教学对象是六年级学生,关于打电话的话题是学生们熟悉和感兴趣的。他们在五年级时曾经学过一些打电话的相关知识,本课将继续学习打电话的相关句型。‎ 教学目标 知识与技能目标 ‎1、能够听懂、会说、认读、书写词汇late, early, tell, begin ‎2、能够认读、理解和运用下列句子Would you come to a party?‎ ‎3、能运用所学的语言知识在创设的打电话情境中进行熟练的交际,并在此基础上能将其运用于日常生活之中。‎ 情感态度目标 ‎1.增强学生的参与意识,引导学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。。‎ ‎2.通过本课的学习,培养学生的时间观念,珍惜与同学、朋友的友谊。 学习策略目标:‎ 通过体验式的学习活动,激发听、说英语的兴趣,培养注意观察,乐于模仿的学习习惯。‎ 文化意识目标:‎ 了解西方人打电话的相关礼仪和文化习俗 教学重难点 重点:理解并运用重点词汇和句型:late, early, tell, begin,Would you come to a party?‎ 难点:在教师创设的情景中,运用所学的语言知识打电话。‎ 教具准备 多媒体课件 教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up:‎ ‎1. Sing a song: Red River Valley ‎2. Free talk:‎ T: Hello, boys and girls.‎ What day is today?‎ What time is it now?‎ T: Class begins! What time does our English class begin?‎ At 10:00.‎ ‎【设计意图】以歌曲和师生间的自然问候导入新课,使师生都能以良好的精神状态投入到英语学习的氛围之中,同时在师生对话中渗透本课有关时间的提问方法和“begin”一词的意思。‎ Step 2 Presentation & Practice ‎1. Show a picture on the screen T: What can you see?‎ S: I can see a cake, some fruits?‎ T: It's a party. Who is the surprise party for? Guess.‎ S: It's for Li Ming.‎ T: Yes, it's a party for Li Ming.‎ ‎【设计意图】围绕图片展开讨论,在师生的交流中让学生对文本故事内容进行猜测,培养学生的发散思维并揭示课题。‎ ‎2. Listen and answer the questions T: Where is Li Ming now?‎ S: He is learning English in Canada.‎ T: Why do they have a party? Will they tell Li Ming about the party?听课文文本前两幅图录音,鼓励学生找出问题的答案。学习tell一词,tell一 词可由well一词导入学习。‎ ‎【设计意图】通过听音的方式学生第一次接触文本,培养学生认真听的习惯和捕捉有效信息的能力。‎ T: Why do they have a party?‎ S: Because Li Ming is leaving soon.‎ T: Will they tell Li Ming about the party?‎ S: No, they won't. It's a surprise party.‎ T: Who will Jenny and Danny tell? Guess.‎ S: They will tell Steven?‎ ‎【设计意图】在师生对话中使学生明白surprise, tell的意思,并通过活动的形式进一步操练这两个词,使学生主动参与活动,积极与同伴交流。‎ ‎3. Read books silently and answer the questions Questions: Who does Jenny call?‎ What time does the party begin?‎ Who will come to the party?‎ Talk about the questions in pairs first, then check the answers together, finally write the answers on P61, part 2 Let's do it!
