Read and write 教学设计 ‎ 张家口市涿鹿县鼓楼小学 何伟娜 ‎【教学内容】‎ 本课时主要内容分为读和写两部分。第一部分要求学生阅读图片和文段并回答两个问题。第二部分为有意义的以读促写活动。具体分为两个步骤:第一步是为文中提到的小朋友从表格中选择适当的交通建议,第二步为朋友制作适当的交通建议海报,从而培养学生正确的交通安全意识。 ‎ ‎【学情分析】‎ ‎ 六年级英语教学在学生的英语学习生涯中启着承上启下的作用, 即是五年级英语学习的进一步衍生,也是为初中英语学习奠定坚实的基础。学生在本单元前面的学习中已经熟练掌握了各种上学方式的表达,对于相关的交通规则也有所了解。所以这一课时是对前面已知知识的一种综合运用及拓展。‎ ‎【教学目标】‎ 学生通过本节课的头脑风暴活动复习巩固自己已知的各种上学方式,激活已有的背景知识和储备词汇;通过阅读训练问题的设置,培养学生能够在语篇中提取有效信息的能力,并能够对细节进行适当的推理;在复习巩固的基础上根据所给出的安全海报帮助学生完成自己的海报设计。‎ ‎【教学方法】‎ 为了更好的突出重点,突破难点。本节课我采用小组合作的学习方法,充分发挥学生的小组协作能力和自主创新能力。培养学生勇于提出问题,共同研讨解决问题的学习主动性,做到把课堂真正的还给学生。‎ ‎【教学重点】‎ 学生通过本节课的头脑风暴活动复习巩固自己已知的各种上学方式,激活已有的背景知识和储备词汇;通过阅读训练问题的设置,培养学生能够在语篇中提取有效信息的能力,并能够对细节进行适当的推理.‎ ‎【教学难点】‎ 在复习巩固的基础上根据所给出的安全海报帮助学生完成自己的海报设计。做到对本单元知识的融会贯通。‎ ‎【教学准备】‎ ‎ 教师:PPT, Flash动画, 课文录音 学生:教材, 学生材料 ‎【教学步骤】‎ Step 1.Warming up ( 8 mins )‎ 1. Greeting with each other.‎ Good morning boys and girls! How are you?‎ 2. Let’s chant ‎‎ How do you go to school,‎ Sometimes by bike.‎ Sometimes by car.‎ But I never go by train.‎ ‎ How do you get to Paris?‎ Never on foot, never by bike. Always by car, bus or plane.‎ ‎【设计意图】通过歌曲开始课堂教学一方面提高学生的课堂注意力和学习兴趣,另一方面可以通过歌唱的过程对所学内容进行巩固复习。‎ ‎3. 闪视训练flash visual training:When you see the pictures or listen the voice, speak them loudly.‎ On foot by bus by taxi by plane by ship by subway by train ‎ Yellow light—slow down and stop red light—stop and wait green light—go ‎【设计意图】通过闪视训练,使得学生能够汇总自己所知的各种上学方式,回顾所知的交通规则,激活已有的背景知识和储备词汇。为进一步实际运用做好准备。‎ ‎4. 对话操练 practice the dialogue. (by using the map)‎ T: ok! Do you like our school? And how do you come to school?‎ S:……‎ T:Ok! This time please practice the dialogue in groups.‎ A: How do you come to school?‎ B: Usually, ……. Sometimes…….‎ ‎【设计意图】运用思维导图,清晰的呈现各种不同的交通方式。让学生结合自身实际情况,小组内进行对话练习,不仅是对学生已有知识的一种复习,也能提高学生的实际运用能力。‎ Step 2. 阅读前准备活动before reading (10 mins)‎ ‎1. 图片导入leading:show the picture of the text and ask students some questions.‎ ‎ T:Who is he? S: He’s Wu Yifan’s grandpa.‎ T: He’s ill. What does Robin want to do? He read a magazine to him. What’s it about?‎ ‎【设计意图】运用课本中的图片内容进行导入,一方面,学生对于图片中人物较为熟悉,便于学生理解。另一方面,课本图片紧扣本节课所授内容,贴近主题。‎ ‎2. 展示课本中的其他图片引发学生学习兴趣Show the pictures of the text ‎ T: Let’s read the magazine together. Look there are some students. How do they go to school? Do you come to school on foot? How about you? Can you come to school by ship? Let’s have a look.‎ ‎ 3. 结合图片熟悉相关地点及乘车方式Show the three pictures, and teach students the places’ name and the different ways. Teach students the new words: Munich, Germany, by sled, by ferry, Papa Westray, Scotland by using the pictures.‎ ‎【设计意图】在阅读前,提前处理文本中出现的新地点和新的出行方式,为学生下一步阅读扫清障碍,降低阅读难度,提高学生的阅读兴趣。 ‎ Step 3. 阅读中活动及操练 while reading ( 10mins )‎ ‎1. 首次播放课文动画抓住重点Play the flash, let students underline the places and circle the different ways.‎ ‎2. 第二次播放完成课后练习First, explain the two questions below.‎ Second, let students read the passage by themselves and try to answer the two questions.‎ ‎1) How many ways to go to school can you find in the text?‎ ‎2) Does everyone in the text go to school?‎ ‎3. 第三次播放跟读练习play the flash again and read after it .‎ ‎4. 小组讨论上学方式的建议from the text we know different ways to go to school. This time please discuss in groups, and give them some suggestions about traffic rules.‎ ‎(P 19)‎ 预设 : go at a green light 绿灯行 Slow down and stop at a yellow light 黄灯减速停一停 keep to the right 靠右行驶 ‎ Slow Down, Look around and Cross! 一慢,二看,三通过!‎ Drive Slowly!车辆慢行!‎ Always buckle up. 永远系好安全带 You always have to stop at a stop sign. 在停车标志前,你永远要停 ‎【设计意图】在讨论环节让学生给出相关建议,除了可以参考课本原有内容以外,还应该结合实际生活情况,让学生发散思维拓展表达思路,提前预设相关规则降低学生作答难度。‎ Step 4. 阅读后活动及拓展练习 after reading ( 12 mins )‎ 活动一: 制作海报 ( students material )‎ ‎ Our school will have a traffic show, can you make a poster for our students?‎ Each group make a poster by using the traffic rules which they discussed before. They can use the suggestions on page 19.‎ ‎ Then show their poster to other groups.‎ 活动二:我是小交警 ‎1. According to the traffic rules on your poster, give classmates some suggestions about the traffic rules. You can write it like this:‎ Hello! Boys and girls! I’m_______. I’m a traffic police. Today I will give you some advice of the ways to go to school.‎ If you go to school on foot , you must stop at a red light. Don’t go at a red light.‎ If you go to school________, you must_________________. Don’t____________.‎ I hope everything goes well! Thank you!‎ ‎2. read the passage for the classmates.‎ ‎3.家庭作业(课下延伸): give some suggestions for your parents and tell them the traffic rules.‎ ‎【设计意图】活动一:海报制作不仅是学生对于上一环节中讨论结果的一个直观的展示,更加在一定程度上训练了学生的创作能力。活动二是活动一海报制作的一个拓展让学生通过做小交警这一活动,提高学生的写作能力和语言的综合运用能力,是本节课教学活动的一个提升。‎ ‎【板书设计】 ‎ ‎ Unit 2 Ways to go to school Read and write ‎【教学反思】‎ 本节课是一节阅读写作课,在设计本节课的教学环节时我分为阅读前,阅读中和阅读后三个环节。其中,阅读前和阅读中两个环节侧重于通过各项活动加深学生对于课文内容的理解。阅读后这一环节主要培养学生的语言运用能力和输出能力。“制作海报”和“我是小交警”活动从各个方面提高了学生的综合语言运用能力和个性化的展示能力。‎ Student material Pay attention You must Don’t ‎ By bus keep to the right go at a red light ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Activity 2: to be a traffic police Hello!
