His neighbor was very thankful for her help.‎ ‎3. Last week I went to visit to my former neighbor, Mr Yang. He and I used to living next to each other for many years. About half a year ago , an order came which the old building , along with many other similar ones, were going to be pulled down to make room for a main street. ‎ So I had to move apart. Mr. Yang now lives in the suburbs near a beautiful park. His new apartment is much big than before. The only problem is that it took quite a long time to get to the downtown area. Therefore, Mr. Yang doesn’t seem to worry about the long distance. He says that new subway line is to be built in a few year and he is sure life will be better in the future.‎ ‎4. Patience is of great importance in our daily life. Once I waited a bus to come at a stop. 30 minutes past, but no bus came. Both sad and annoyed, I decided to walk on foot. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus, I would have to ‎ wait for other 30 minutes. Only then do I realize my problem. Being impatient will possible waste all the effort that we have put it in. Now whenever I am close to lose my patience, I’ll think of the experiences.‎ ‎5. More than one American child dislike getting advice from members of their family. They turn to “strangers”. While they need advice, they don’t usually go to people they know. Instead many of them wrote letters to newspapers or magazine that give advice on many different subjects included family problems, the use of language, health, cooking, child care, clothes, and even on how to buy a house or a car. Most newspapers regular print letters from readers with problems. Along with letters there are answers written by people who are supposed to know what to solve such problems. Some of these writers are doctors. Others are lawyers and educators. But two of the most famous writers of advice are women who without special training for this kind of work.‎ ‎6. Recently campus safety has become public concern since a series of violent attacks happened, which causes serious damage. It makes us aware of the fact that safety should always come firstly in our daily life.‎ In this case, we should take effective measure which can solve this problem. Firstly, our students should realize we must follow our school or traffic rules, and pay attention to food safety, because many incidents happen just because of we are too careless. Secondly, you should take training of security so that we can keep calm if faced with conflicts. Thirdly, our government and schools should provide surroundings that our students can be buried in studying.‎ As far as I am concerned, improving campus safety is very important that we all should try our best to make anyone on campus safe and sound.‎ ‎7. It is likely for anyone to be misunderstood for some reason. I am no exception. One day after school, I got on my bike and start heading home. I was just about to get out of the traffic jam outside our school while a woman stopped me, claim that my bike had scratched his car. I felt confused because that I clearly remembered that I was trying to avoid touching her car just now. Therefore, she insisted on blaming me and gradually rose her voice. Surrounded by the crowd, I got anxious and desperate wanted this to be over. So I made a compromise.‎ Never before in my life had I dealt with such thing, and I was apparently taken advantage of. Now I am aware that I should never give out as long as I am on the right side.‎ ‎8. My car just wouldn’t move any farther. It was complete dead, and I was a few miles away from my home in that cold, wet night. I decided to walk around a little after accepting that I’d have to spend the night in the car. Maybe I can find a telephone. Actually, I didn’t have to walk far before I found the small house standing in a field with a light shone from the sitting room. I knocked the door was delighted when a pleasant old man opened the door and listened to my story carefully. He said he had no telephone and that it wasn’t any within walking distance, but the old man who offered to go to repair my car.‎ ‎9. I like music very much, pop songs on particular. Every time when I do my homework, I always play some of my favorite songs on my tape recorder. The familiar melodies attracted me into the colorfully world of music. Now and then I stop to follow songs. Sometimes my mother comes in, ask me to fix my attention on my homework. She doesn’t like pop music at all. Like most grown-up, she enjoys folk songs because the peaceful music reminds her of my beautiful old days. It is a truth which people of different ages understand music differently but enjoy various kinds of music.‎ ‎10. Knowing that our library is going to buy books, I’d like to give some suggestion.‎ ‎ That we need most are popular science books. Usually popular science books explain basic principles of nature in simple and interesting way. They helped us understand science subjects better and arouse our curious about scientific discoveries.‎ ‎ In addition to read for knowledge, we read for fun and inspiration. That is because I recommend other category of books: literary books. Classic works, written by famous writers, are present great thoughts through fascinating stories and language.
