江西省信丰中学高三英语 阅读课教学设计复习 本单元以世界性的体育盛会──Olympic Games 为话题,旨在通过本单元的教学,使学生了解奥运会的基本知识,包括奥运会的起源、宗旨、比赛项目以及古现代奥运会的异同,其目的是培养学生对体育运动的爱好,增强学生的爱国主义意识,并以此拓展学生的国际视野。‎ 本部分是该单元的主要阅读材料,跟初中类似的阅读材料相比较而言,该阅读材料形式新颖,词汇量加大。它既具备了大量有关奥运会的信息,又集中了有用的词汇和语言结构,帮助学生了解有关奥运会的基本知识。Warming up是该部分的铺垫,根据教材内容相似性的特点,把warming up, pre-reading, reading 以及 comprehending整合为一堂阅读课。因此本节阅读课被调整为本单元的第一课时。而原本属于Warming up部分的会话交际内容将会被安排到作业设计中,以弥补课堂时间不足。‎ ‎ ‎ 学情分析 高一(上)学生学习积极性较高,思维活跃,观点新颖,敢于提出自己不同的看法及见解。三年的初中英语学习,使学生储备了一定的词汇和英语语言知识,但初中养成的一些学习习惯(如大量机械记忆单词、句型,反复复述课文等)一时还难以改正,而且对高中英语学习的策略和学习环境还很陌生,他们迫切希望获取高中英语学习方法的指导,尤其是在有效的自主学习能力培养方面的指导。同时,高一新生基本具备一定的电脑操作知识和网上搜索和查阅知识的能力。这些都为本课学生运用信息技术进行课堂整合提供了有力的支持。‎ ‎ ‎ 教学目标 ‎(一)语言知识目标 ‎1.学习本课新词汇:honest ancient compete competitor medal host Greece Greek magical interview athlete admit set(n.) slave stadium gymnasium replace prize ‎2.学习本课新短语:take part in, a set of, as well as ‎3.学习本课句型:‎ ‎1). I lived in what you called “Ancient Greece”.‎ ‎2). Every four years athletes from all over the world are admitted as competitors.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎(二)语言技能目标 ‎1.通过上网查找等课前准备,了解奥运会的历史;‎ ‎2.培养学生根据课文标题预测课文内容的能力,并通过速读确认预测;‎ ‎3.在对奥运史有初步了解的基础上,通过细读文章进一步了解现代奥运的发展过程及现状,从而达到了解奥运历史,学习奥运精神的目的。‎ ‎ ‎ ‎(三)学习策略目标 ‎1.通过课前上网查找奥运会历史及知识,培养资源策略;‎ ‎2.通过检查预测、小组交流等活动来培养学生的认知策略;‎ ‎3.通过了解采访的基本结构并进行模仿采访(拓展)来培养交际策略。‎ ‎ ‎ ‎(四)情感态度目标 ‎1.了解奥运的起源、发展及其对人类的影响,理解体育精神,增强国际视野;‎ ‎2.对比古今奥运会的异同,学会竞争与合作;‎ ‎3.理解举办奥运会的意义,培养祖国意识。‎ ‎ ‎ ‎(五)文化意识目标 ‎1.了解奥运历史及相关国家的文化背景;‎ ‎2.理解古代奥运会与现代奥运会不同的文化差异。‎ ‎ ‎ 教学重点及难点 ‎(一)教学重点 admit (admit sb. to do sth./be admitted as/be admitted to); compete (compete for/against); as well as; every four years (every other year)‎ ‎(二)教学难点 admit (admit sb. to do sth./be admitted as/be admitted to);‎ I lived in what you called “Ancient Greece”.‎ It’s just as much a competition among countries to host the Olympics as to win the Olympic medal.‎ ‎ ‎ 教学策略与手段 在课前准备阶段,让学生进行自主学习,查找奥运会的相关知识(自主学习策略);在教学过程中,以学生为中心,教师的基本任务是 “导”,即起组织和引导的作用。在热身部分,以当前时事多哈亚运会为切入点,导入单元主题奥运会,并组织小组间进行合作和竞赛,然后予以评价(小组合作、互动教学、评价策略);读前,使用问题策略,引导学生预测课文内容;阅读时, 使用多媒体辅助,引导学生完成回答问题,填写表格等任务;读后,安排学生进行小组讨论,进一步深化主题,强化爱国主义意识。作业设计中让学生进行分角色朗读及采访模仿秀,了解采访结构,锻炼学生口语(交际策略)。‎ ‎ ‎ 课前准备 ‎1.安排学生预习本单元词汇,并利用早读课时间带领学生读单词 ‎2.让学生通过上网、图书馆等查找有关奥运会知识的资料,并提前通知各小组准备组间竞赛;‎ ‎3.教师准备教学课件,及小纸片(内容为课文填空)‎ ‎ ‎ 教学过程 Step1 Greeting and Lead-in 通过多哈亚运会的图片导入奥运会,引出标题。‎ Step2 Warming up 奥运会知识竞赛 学生可以根据兴趣选择自己喜欢的题号,并回答问题。本部分共设8个问题,检查学生对奥运会知识的了解以及课前的准备。(热身部分的设计不仅可以引起学生的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,而且给学生自主选择的机会,创设自主学习的平台。)‎ Step3 Pre-reading 教师要求学生根据课文标题预测课文内容(培养学生的发散思维),然后将学生预测的答案一一写到黑板上,以便在细读之后确认。‎ Step4 Reading Task1 Fast-reading ‎ ‎ 确认之前的预测(这一步至关重要,让学生自己阅读并确认自己的预测,培养学生的认知策略)并找出Pausanias在采访中问到的问题(培养快速阅读能力),并在快速阅读时解决难点I lived in what you called “Ancient Greece”. 排除学生阅读障碍。‎ Task2 Detailed reading ‎1. Pair work T: Pausanias asks so many questions, so how does Lily answer his questions? Now listen to the tape carefully, and try to find out the answers. Then do it in Pairs. Now, pay attention to the phrases in red. Every four years means “每四年”.
