本单元围绕话题 “What do you do on the weekend?” 和 “When do you ----?”引出两组情景对话和一个趣味故事。本单元是五年级上册第二单元的延续,重点学习一天中不同时间内学习和生活起居情况以及周末活动安排的表达。本单元在复习以前学过的表达动作词汇的基础上,重点学习一些与日常作息有关的动词短语及借此短语。尤其是学会使用频度副词谈论日常生活,用所学语言知识询问和描述一天中的生活起居及周末活动等,并在此基础上培养学生的语言交际能力和“用英语做事情”的能力;
学情分析
学生已掌握的相关知识
1. 基本掌握时间的整点表达法;
2. 基本能对自己在周几做什么事情进行简单的描述;
3. 基本掌握辅音字母c , l, p 的发音;

设计意图:本环节旨在以歌曲的形式,复习以前学习过的一些动词,激活学生的知识储备和相关经验,为新授部分学习动词和名次的搭配使用做铺垫。通过学生唱,营造了良好的英语课堂气氛,降低了教学难度能够帮助学生更好地理解目标语言。

设计意图:以猜测进行闯关为线索,设计形式各异的单词导入和句子操练,由易到难,循序渐进,激发学生的竞争意识。学生对这种具有趣味性的活动非常地投入,主动积极地参与到合作交流中,尤其是当其他同学未能在短时间内猜出来时,猜出来的学生成就感油然而生

设计意图:本环节通过引入生日派对话题,为下节课的环节做好铺垫。也通过这个设计,引出学生们每天做的事情,和做这些事情的时间,不仅培养了学生之间的合作与交流能力以及学生英语学习的兴趣,而且学生的语言有效重组与输出能力也得到了极大的提升,在这样一个逼真而有趣的情境中,学生们用英语表达的欲望高张,纷纷涌跃参与到合作表演中,获取知识的同时体验了分享的过程与快乐。
