一、Suggestions for review
·Use the quiz in the student book as review. Observe your students closely. This is how the audiotape goes:
(Danny) Hello, everyone! Get ready to listen! Open your eyes for the right answer. Close your eyes for the wrong answer.
1. (Mr. Wood) What’s this?
(Danny) Oh, no! It’s a camera!
2. (Mr. Wood) Is this a picture or drawing?
(Danny) Aaaaah! It’s a picture of me! Good-bye!
3. (Mr. Wood) Are Li Ming and Jenny children?
(Li Ming) I’m sorry, everyone. We can’t find Danny, but I can answer the question. Yes, Jenny and I are children.
(Li Ming) How did you do? Here are the answers!
Answers:
1. It’s a camera! 2. It’s a picture. 3. Yes, Li Ming and Jenny are children, but what’s Danny? A dinosaur!

四、Use the activity book
·Number 2 in the activity book is a listening exercise on the audiotape as follows:
Listen. Write the correct words in the blanks.
My grandfather and I go to the park near my house. There are many people in the park. There are many men and women talking. There are many children playing and laughing.
Anna and I go up high in a tree. Now we are scared. “Help!” Everyone looks at me. My grandfather sees Anna and me in the tree. He runs to the tree and helps Anna and me down. I am okay, but Anna hurts her fingers.

Lesson 15 Are You Ready for a song ?
教学目标:
知识目标:1.学唱歌曲 Everyone goes for a walk .
2. 完成书上的测试题。
能力目标:能独立演唱歌曲,能够读懂并能回答简单问题。
情感目标:激发学生对英语的持久兴趣,培养学生勤动脑,学会思考。
教学重点、难点:能准确回答书中的问题。
教具准备:录音机、插图卡片。
教学过程:
一、Class Opening and Review
Greeting
Follow the directions: Walk quickly. Walk slowly. Sing A B C song loudly. Sing it
quietly.
Review the words in this unit, play “Guess and Answer”For example: Not quickly.(slowly) What do you need to take a picture.(camera) etc.
二、Learn a song
T: Open your book and turn to page 30 .(让学生观察图片说话,这首歌曲的歌词是这个单元的重点知识,所以在学习歌曲之前让学生自己说出来不仅复习了以前的知识,同时孩子们还掌握了歌词。)
1. Play the audiotape to enjoy .
2. Have the students follow words and pictures in their student books .
3. Read a song and put it into Chinese .
4. Discuss: Who is walking?
Who is walking slowly?
What are they doing?
Where are they?
5. Listen to the tape .
6. Use the pictures in the students book to help the students remember the words .
Finally play the tape again and have my students sing alone.
三、Quiz
分组观察图片,讨论。What is this?
What happens?
找同学回答,并回顾故事情节,练习口语表达。
游戏:让学生根据所给图片结组编故事。
长短不一的两支铅笔。
一个高个男孩,一个矮个女孩。
(鼓励学生使用What is this? Is this short or long? Is this a boy or a girl? etc.)
四、Exercise
1 写出反义词:slowly---- loudly-----
2 选择填空:
Boys and girls are _______(childchildren).

3 回答问题:
What`s this? (出示一张照片)

Divide them into 2 teams, and write the words what they heard on the blackboard.

Group work: 总结letter, postcard, E-mail, envelope的英文写法
(把生分成四组,分别完成letter, post card, E-mail,envelope)
Activity 3: 展示学生的作品
Activity 4: Let’s sing a song.
1. Play the tape first ,then follow it .
2. To practice several times ,make sure they can sing it fluently.
3. Sing for each other ,and understand its meaning.
Activity 5: Let’s have a quiz.
First let Ss do it by themselves, then check in the class
