The dollar has been climbing steadily all week. 整个星期美元一直在稳步增值。
二、现在完成进行时的结构
现在完成进行时由“have / has been + 现在分词”构成。如:
Sales have been dropping off badly. 销售量一直减少得很厉害。

语法解析:
一. that 引导的宾语从句
在复合句中用作宾语的从句叫宾语从句。无论主句是陈述句还是疑问句,宾语从句都必须使用陈述语序。
可以省略。但是,

当由一般疑问句充当宾语从句时,用if或whether引导,意为“是否”。如:
I don't know if /whether he still lives here after so many years.我不知道这么多年后他是否还住在这儿。
但在下列情况下只能用whether:
直接与or not连用时
I don't know whether he does any washing or not.
②在介词之后用whether。如:
I'm interested in whether he likes English.我关心的是他是否喜欢英语。
We're thinking about whether we can finish the work on time.
我们正在考虑是否能按时完成这项工作。
③在不定式前用whether。如:
He hasn't decided whether to visit the old man.他尚未决定是否拜访那位老人。
I don't know whether to go.我不知去否。

④whether置于句首时,不能换用if。如:
Whether this is true or not,I can't say.这是否真的我说不上来。
主句和从句的时态对应
1)如果主句的谓语动词是一般现在时,从句的谓语动词可根据需要,选用相应的任何时态。如:
I don't know when he will come back.我不知道他将何时回来。
He tells me that his sister came back yesterday.他告诉我他姐姐昨天回来了。
2)如果主句的谓语动词是过去时,宾语从句的谓语动词只可根据需要,选用过去时态即一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时或过去完成时的某一种形式。如:
①The children didn't know who he was.孩子们不知道他是谁。
②He asked his father how it happened.他问他父亲这件事是如何发生的。
3)如果宾语从句所表示的是客观事实、普遍真理、自然现象或习惯性动作等,不管主句用什么时态,从句时态都用一般现在时。如:
The teacher said that the earth goes round the sun.老师说地球绕着太阳转。

二.感叹句
感叹句是用来表示喜怒哀乐等强烈情感的句子。有多种表现形式,通常用how,what来引导。
句型结构:
what引导的感叹句
1.① What+a/an+(形容词)+单数可数名词+主语+谓语!
② What+名词词组+主语+谓语!
如: What a fine day it is!
2. What+(形容词)+可数名词复数或不可数名词+主语+谓语!
如: What kind women they are!
What nice music it is!
how引导的感叹句
1.How+形容词(副词)+主语+谓语!
如: How hard the workers are working!
How clever the girl is!
How quickly the boy is writing!
2. How+主语+谓语!

如:How time flies! 时光飞逝!
注意:
1. 当how修饰动词时,动词不跟着感叹词提到主语之前。
如: How fast the runner runs!
2. how与what引导的感叹句中的第一种格式(单数名词)一般情况下可以相互转换,转换后意义不变。
如: What an interesting story it is! = How interesting the story is!
What a beautiful building it is! = How beautiful the building is!
3. 在口语中,感叹句的主语和谓语常常省略。
如: What a nice present!(省略it is)
How disappointed!(省略she is或其它可作本句主、谓的词语)

When Vivienne Harr was 8 years old, she saw a photo she would never forget. It was a photo of two young boys carrying large, heavy rocks on their backs. These children were the same age as Vivienne. But they did not have the same freedom and opportunities (自由和机会) that she has.
In some parts of the world, children have to work hard long days and they can’t go to school. Vivienne wanted to change this. “I want all kids to be able to go to school and play,” said Vivienne, now 10. “I want them to be happy.”
To help raise money for children like the two boys in the photo, Vivienne started a lemonade stand (柠檬汽水摊位) near her home in Marin County, California. She promised to work every day for a year, rain or shine. “Sometimes, it was hard for me, when the weather was bad or I wasn’t feeling well,” said Vivienne. “But I knew that some children were having a harder time than I was.”
Vivienne’s goal (目标) was to raise $100,000 in 365 days. On Day 175, she reached her goal. But that didn’t stop Vivienne from working. With the help of her family, she started Make a Stand. The company (公司) now puts Vivienne’s lemonade into bottles (瓶子) and sells it in 130 stores around the USA. A small part of sales goes to help achieve Vivienne’s dream — to make the world a better place for all children.
