Ⅲ.阅读理解
A piece of good news—making little changes on your workday can influence your complete health in a big way. Cardinal's early research shows that short activities—as short as two minutes each—may influence your health just as much as exercising in the gym for 30 minutes a day (so long as these short activities add up to 150 minutes a week, or 30 minutes a day, five days a week).
“What's more, even people who work can get help from increasing their activity all day long,” says Cardinal. “It can help prevent some of the scary effects because of sitting most of the day, like fatty, heart disease, and diabetes.”
The easy workday changes below are a good way to start. Each of them will help you keep healthy.
·Park in a spot farther away from your office (but still a safe distance) to walk a little more before and after work.
·Take hourly activity breaks (each one should be at least two minutes long) to do sitting position, walk quickly, do desk push-ups—whatever. Try a walking or standing workplace or sit on an exercise ball rather than your regular desk chair.
·When you need to discuss something with a workmate, walk over to her desk and stand while you talk to her.
·Instead of making a drive on your lunch break, walk to a nearby restaurant to pick something up. Do you bring your lunch? Take a few minutes to walk outside at noon.
·Make it a rule to take the stairs any time you're going less than four floors. If you can, take public transportation. You'll have to walk to and from the stop, even if you drive to the station. Besides, you can stand during the ride.

Ⅳ.回答问题
The train made a lot of noise as it came to a stop at the station. Martha waited for a while until her father held her hand. They walked onto the train together. Her mother and brother walked behind them.
This was the first train ride for Martha and her brother Brian. They would take the train to visit their grandparents. They usually went there by car. But today, Mum and Dad wanted to try a different way.
They walked to the middle of the train. They found some seats and sat down. A few minutes later, the train began to move.
Martha and Brian felt a little nervous, but their parents said they would enjoy the ride. Dad said he liked the train ride because he didn't need to drive all the time. Mum added that she could talk to her two children face to face instead of turning around.
When the children heard their parents' words, they felt relaxed.
“The train isn't as noisy as I thought it would be,” said Martha, “and I can stand up and walk around. I believe I can see everything through the windows.”
“The train really goes fast,” said Brian. “I like that best of all. If we get on the train in the morning, we can see grandparents before lunch. I can't wait to enjoy their apple pie!”
