【教学过程】
Step 1:Warm up
Greeting :
T: Hello, boys and girls!
S: Hello teacher!
T: How are you ?
S: I’m fine, thanks.
S: How are you ?
T: I’m fine, thanks.
Listen to a song: I love you, you love me.
Step 2: New concepts
sister , brother.
Ask the students to look at the picture of Jenny’s family and describe what they know in English . 2. The students talk about the pictures of their families with sister, brother or some other words.
Step 3: Contrast
1. old, young.
Show a picture of an old man .
He is an old man.
He is old.
show a young girl.
She is a young girl.
She is young .
2. The students say sentences themselves with young or old.
3. She is old.
Is she old?
He is young.
Is he young ?
4. How old are you?
I am seven .
I am seven years old .
Step 4: Homework
Ask your mother: How old are you?
