Lesson6: In the living room 一、教学目标 ‎1、 知识与技能目标 ‎(1)听、说、读、写客厅里的物品——TV,chair ,couch,以及描述或介绍房间里的物品的名称。‎ ‎(2)能够灵活运用现在进行时,联系实际生活,就家人在家里的活动进行简单、准确的描述。‎ ‎2、情感及文化目标 ‎ (1)激发学生听英语、说英语、用英语和他人进行交流的兴趣,敢于用英语进行表达,并能主动利用语言环境大胆实践。‎ ‎ (2)鼓励学生根据所学知识谈论自己家客厅的物品及家人,使之能在小组活动中积极参与他人合作,互相帮助,增强学生的团结合作意识。‎ 二、教学重点、难点 ‎ 1、教学重点 ‎ (1)掌握客厅里的物品单词。如:TV, chair ,couch ‎ (2)掌握动词短语。如:watch TV, read the newspaper ,play cards, write a letter , in the chair ,on the couch.‎ 2、 教学难点 ‎(1)现在分词的构成及特殊变化。如:playing , reading , watching ,writing ,sitting ‎(2)理解并运用现在进行时。‎ 三、教具准备 ‎ 课件、录音机和磁带。‎ 四、教学资源 ‎ chair表示单人沙发,couch表示三人沙发,长沙发。‎ 五、 教学方法:‎ ‎ 活动教学法 合作学习法 交际法 六、教学过程 ‎ Step1: Warming up ‎ 1.   Sing a song “Bingo”.‎ ‎ (设计意图:课前热身,使学生进入英语学习的氛围。学生跟唱歌曲并且能独唱和合唱。)‎ ‎ 2.   Revision ‎ T:In Lesson 2 we know four rooms. What are they?‎ ‎ Ss: They are bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room.‎ ‎ T: This lesson we will talk about: What’ s in the living room? Let’s look at some pictures and find which one is the living room? ‎ Show the picture of the bedroom , ask: Is this a living room?‎ ‎ Ss: No.‎ ‎ T: What is this ?‎ ‎ Ss: This is a bedroom.‎ ‎ Then other pictures like this. ‎ Show the living room.‎ ‎ T: What can you see in the living room?‎ ‎ S1: I can see a lamp.‎ ‎ S2: I can see a table. ...‎ ‎(设计意图:通过复习旧知识,引出本节课的主题,新旧结合,温故知新。)‎ Step 2: Presentation.‎ ‎ T:My friend has a living room, too. What’s in her living room? Let’s listen and find the answer of the question.‎ ‎ The students say:...‎ T:Jenny and Danny want to watch TV. I want to watch TV, too.(指桌子) Is this a TV ?‎ Ss:No, this isn’t a TV.  This is a table.‎ T:(指台灯)Is  this a TV?‎ S:No, this isn’t a TV.  This is a lamp.‎ T:Where  is the TV? Yes. Here is the TV.‎ T:What is this? (指单沙发)‎ ‎ Help answer: This is a chair. Read.‎ ‎ Ss: Chair.‎ ‎ Then learn: couch.‎ ‎(设计意图:听说相连,先听后说,既练习了句型 What’s this ? Is this a...?又学习了新单词。)‎ Step3: Practice.‎ ‎ Use the picture of Jenny's living room to practice "Do you see ...?" ‎ ‎ Talk in a group of two students: What’s in your living room? Then let some groups to act out their dialogues.‎ ‎(设计目的:通过学生介绍自己家客厅的物品,既能介绍客厅里物品的名称,又能巩固句型:What’s in the living room? There is a ...... There are....)‎ Step 4: Practice ‎ T: We know some things in our living room. We can’t only watch TV. We should go outside. We can do other games. For example: walk. Yes, look at me. What am I doing now? Walking, walking. I am walking. Let’s look at some pictures and say: What are they doing?‎ ‎ Show the first picture, and ask: What is he doing?‎ ‎ S1: He is drawing.‎ ‎ Then let the students practice the other pictures.‎ ‎(设计目的:通过练习来为本课学习的现在进行时做个铺垫,让学生首先在头脑意识中有一个理解。)‎ Step 5 New concepts.‎ ‎( 出示Jenny家客厅的图片课件) ‎ ‎ T: This is Jenny’s living room. Can you see LiMing? ‎ ‎ Ss: Yes. ‎ ‎ T: What is he doing? Now let’s listen to the tape for two times and do the listening paper.‎ ‎(设计意图:听力训练。)‎ ‎ Then check the answers.‎ ‎ T: Open your books. Now let’s listen again and read following.‎ ‎ Let the students pay attention to the two verbs: writing and sitting.‎ Step 6: Expand.‎ ‎ Show another picture of a park. Talk about: What are the people doing?
