用法规则
“the+比较级...,the+比较级...”结构的具体用法如下:
(1)意为“越……,就越……”,主、从句的两个谓语是同时进行的,表示后面一方随前面一方程度的变化而变化。
(2)从结构上看,第一个“the+比较级”是表示条件的状语从句(通常用一般现在时或一般过去时;表示将来意义时,从句用一般现在时表示将来);第二个“the+比较级”是主句(通常使用一般将来时或过去将来时,有时也可用一般现在时或一般过去时)。

(Ⅰ)根据提示填空
There are two kinds of ❶_changes (change) — chemical change and physical change.
