Ⅲ.[2020·原创]阅读理解
Next time you're deciding which movie to watch, consider this: sad movies may make you fatter than comedies.
According to a study, people watching Love Story, an old movie, ate an average of 25g of buttered(有黄油的), salted popcorn. This is about the same amount as a medium-size bag of popcorn sold at most cinemas.
That's 28 percent more than they ate during Sweet Home Alabama, a 2002 comedy about a fashion designer going home to the rural(乡村的) southern state of the US.
The popcorn experiment(实验) was described in an article in Journal of Marketing about the connection(关系) between people's moods and the type and amount of food they eat. Scientists found that people who are feeling unhappy eat large amounts of food that they consider tasty but unhealthy.
In a similar study, college students reading about the death of seven children in a fire ate twice more than usual.
Nitika Garg, a teacher of the University of Mississippi, and one of the writers of the article, says, “When people are sad, they have this need to get a reward(奖赏), and it's very easy to pick up unhealthy, but tasty food.”

Hi, everyone. I'm Dick.
It's common to have stress(压力)in life. Different people have different kinds of stress. Adults may feel stressed because of the difficulties they are meeting, while children may feel stressed when tests are coming. So how to deal with stress is very important in our life.
When I have trouble with schoolwork, I often feel stressed. Recently, I have been quite worried about my Chinese. I can't understand it very well, and I also make some stupid mistakes. I feel like there's a heavy weight on my shoulders.
Every coin has two sides. While stress can sometimes make us worried, there's also something useful in it. When we have pressure(压力), we may push ourselves harder and find the way to solve problems. It can help us reach the top.
When I am stressed, I often ask my friends and parents for help. I always get great ideas from them. And another good way is to find hobbies to reduce pressure. I like music, so I like to sing songs when I'm stressed. I also do some exercise to relax, especially when I'm under great pressure. But when there's too much stress, I just have a rest.
We may feel tired when facing stress, or worry often. But we shouldn't just give up and lose
